i'm searching for parasite-free Pothos or Philodendron for my tarantula, but the only sites i've been suggested had shipping costs 2x the price of the actual plants. lol. does anyone know other reliable plant/pet sites i could purchase from?

Hello! I have really gotten into horticulture and I just kinda want to share this.
So, I went to World Market (one of my favorite stores for imported stuff) and I bought Bonsai seeds! Now I'm using scarification and started planting them. I'm hoping to grow them and sell the trees along with heirloom tomatoes at my local farmers market. I'm also looking into growing other stuff so I can sell it and make some moolah.
Anyone have advice on growing Bonsai?

favourite plant: that's a very difficult question considering there are so many lovely plants, but i'd have to say poppies, especially the danish flag variety. the red and white colors are absolutely stunning!

hello, my name's euphoric but feel free to call me euphie or wendy! i've always had an affinity for plants as i love taking care of things and watching things grow. i just started my new garden (though it's kind of late considering it's almost summer), in which i plan on planting catnip (for my kitties), sweet mint, lavender, lion's ear, poppies, and morning glories. i also plan on growing kanna as well, indoors of course. i use the harvests from my garden for medicine and to put in my tea, hence the sweet mint and lavender. the kanna is a natural ssri, which i use for my anxiety, as well as the lion's ear. this is my first garden of the year, as i just recently moved. quick side note, i am building a handmade fence around my garden (to hopefully keep out any critters) this time and it's going quite well. i live in a considerably foresty area and am using honeysuckle vines to bind together the wood i collected. i estimate that it will take a little bit to get the fence completed, but i don't mind.

aw sweet tea, i'd love to have a planted aquarium one day - just plants. i would really love to attempt a coral aquarium but saltwater tanks are pretty difficult to keep so i'd likely attempt a freshwater first :3 i second smo, please take pictures of you can!!

haha CatsKitten, I can totally relate, I currently have too many succulents and I really would love more; I was even considering getting a decorative citrus tree >u< i hadn't heard of a butterfly garden before, is it one of those things where you raise a caterpillar to adult butterfly and release it?

I'm afraid I cannot help with finding a seller for you Sweet Tea, but maybe you could buy a cheaper one and then keep it for a while and treat it against parasites until you are positive it is safe? Euphoric, I love poppies too, i unfortunately don't know enough about the varieties but in my garden we have some giant red ones that my dad needs to hold up with a pole because their flowers get so big, they're such beautiful, elegant plants. I love the idea of growing plants for use however almost all of the plants in my dad's garden are for aesthetic - we have quite a few herbs and some lettuce though! The kanna sounds incredibly interesting, where will you be getting yours from? Please share pictures of the fence you make, when you make it, it sounds like it will be gorgeous!

Yeah thats basically what it is.
I just have a bunch of flowers that bees and butterflies like:)
and a ridiculous amount of lizards that live in them
I actually have an orange tree thats growing oranges and really pretty flowers.
Smells amazing. Love citrus trees XD

If using any pesticides to treat a new plant should be careful to go for natural stuff.

Bad news guys my dondo succulent got severe rot and fell apart.
Couldn't be saved. im so sad about it still
Tried regrowing from leafs but they molded and i tossed em:/
Any tips for regrowing just in case i have to do this again?
Also the plants out front that i forgot were there got snails eating them. Gonna try repotting when i get home from my trip.
Can rotted roots be saved? The plants look healthy.
Also any tips for fighting snails?
my grandparents said beer works

I found plant babies under the snailed plant and took them in.
Got three clearance plants that were healthy:)
