What type of contests do you prefer when trying out for Makos?
Idk the short raffle, naming, itty bitty ones are nice because I'm not rolling over nervous about perfecting my form but if it's a mako I really really really really want and I'm limited it drives me mad because I'm looking for any possible way to make my form better within the adoption rules.

Generally dark I think

Are you entered in any makos currently? Are you excited? Nervous?
Number 119 and the end date needs to come sooner so I can stop obsessing over her! And nervous so very nervous *goes to continue doodling for my form*

Thia doesn't have a real job but her hobby is to study and write down about the natural world in her journal. So she's a bit of a naturalist.

Well, Luce is the boss of a large factory. It's not really a conventional factory of course, I mean there's dorms for workers to live in and it's a bit like a homeless shelter. So Luce knows how to work all the machines, cook (though still not that well), and interpersonal skills. So, yea. that's his job. ^^"

At the moment both are very new characters for me, and I really want to get them more friends and general interactions before I concern myself with romance. Tropicana "Pineapple" "Tropic" ??? - Male - Pansexual

Type Open ;; Friend - Enemy - Romance

A laid-back, level-headed surfer and part-time bartender; Trop can always be found by the sea. He loves the ocean and everything about it. He's easy to pin down, as he's always at one coastline or another. He takes pride in his talent for mixing drinks. Commonly he mixes pineapple or other such fruits and uses paper umbrellas to make his drinks a little bit special. He has little to no knowledge of pop-culture or anything of the sort, and really only concerns himself with things he finds interesting. Trop will go by literally any name you may think to call him, as long as he can still tell you're talking to him. Tropic is generally very cool-headed though he seems to have no true phobias or fears, and because of this is always doing reckless things. He's a friendly and welcoming guy, so if you're every lonely just stop by his beachside bar and he'd be happy to humor you with a drink and some idle conversation.

Pompeii "Ash" Kilauea - Male - Unsure

Type Open ;; Friend - Enemy - Romance

Pompeii "Ash" Kīlauea. Pompeii is a famous volcano, and Kīlauea is an active volcano in Hawaii. He's commonly called Ash, however, due to his name (first or last) being constantly mispronounced or forgotten. He figures the shorter "Ash" is much easer to remember. While Ash may visit the beach from time to time to spend time with his friends and Tropicana, he much prefers a different scene- as he's hydrophobic. He wants to one day swim in the ocean, despite his fear. Ash collects shells and carves/beads/refines them into fine jewelry. He tends to sell these rather cheap as trinkets, or take seashells in exchange so he can make more jewelry for everyone to enjoy. Contrary to popular belief, just because Ash collects shells doesn't make him a softie by any definition. He's a rather rough and rumble fellow, and while other makos might think of him as weak; Ash is a sturdy guy. It's often said that he's rather large and muscular for his species, and he takes pride in this. Ash doesn't have a determinate 'job' since he's not sure what he wants to do with himself at the moment; though he hopes to one day find his direction.

Ash is commonly described as quiet, secretive, sneaky and sly; all of which are true. Good for him, too; because the job he works certainly doesn't require a loud rambunctious mako. Ash works as an assassin, stealthy and silent. Typically he'll just steal things and knock opponents unconscious using a variety of sneaky tactics. More often than not he's classed as a common thief, though others have been reminded time and time again how dangerous Ash can be. Regardless of this occupation, he works a cover-job at a tattoo parlor administering piercings and other such odd jobs (restaurants, bars, etc.) to hide his true colors.

He doesn't stay in one place long, and thus doesn't have many connections- though to those who know what he's really up to he's far more open. With his friends Ash is much more humorous, sarcastic, nonchalant and in general cool. He has a bit of an odd sense of humor, and his smiles are somewhat rare- but he's a loyal friend once you've shown him you care enough to try and understand the odd mako hiding just underneath the surface.

Sai works as a geisha, so basically he is a professional entertainer. He is paid to act as a hostess at parties and events, and he is also occasionally entertainment at public festivals. His job is literally his life - even when he has no official plans he still makes social calls to all of his associates to keep up appearances and he is constantly practicing dance and music. As such, he's a pretty terrible mother! Thankfully Enero has no job now, he simply works as a stay at home dad.

I have a question for those in charge ~ I notice the makoatl we're in currently are being numbered as 150ish. However, there are makoalt on this lineart numbering in the 170s and 180s. So are you numbering until you catch up to them? Or are you ignoring those mako's numbers? How will this work? Are there plans for an archive in the future? I think that would help make sense of this a lot XD If you need help I'm sure many people in the community would gladly volunteer to be an archivist, or I'd be more than willing to help too if you want.

I ask because I was going to post a fun question based on mako numbers but then I realized that I couldn't because it was confusing right now lol

Sorry! Yes on the third line art things got a little goofy. So we chose to extend off of the first line set which left off at 111 not including runner ups!

There's an archive in progress but everything was left a mess so it's taking a lot more time than anticipated to get it all finished up and done ;A;" I apologize in advance.

The makos from the third lineset that went up to 180's will be included in the archive but under a different numbering system per say just because it's too hard to figure out how we even got to the 170's 180's from like 111 lD On the DA group everyone got to pick their own numbers in the archive which was too hard to go by. We wanted to jump right in though so we just picked up from where it made sense.
