.Personality

Acheron is a wild, young and energetic stallion. Due to his past he is not very experienced with the ways of the world and life. He is very passionate and shows in his actions and when trained. Though Acheron is really wild he also is patient with most other beings no matter if animal or man. He always tries to impress and is a little show-off.

.Back Story

He is Acheron. He is the river. He flows in hell. He is pain to the dead. Charon ferries the souls of the sinners to the other side, deeper into the underworld. Those who have been neutral in life are left to sit on the rivers banks. Those with insufficient misconducts gain the chance to be reborn. It is Acherons duty to carry these lost souls downstream into a lake where they can wash away their sins and repent.
By seeing all these lost and haunted souls, sitting, lying, resting there on the river bed, his will to become more than just pain strengthened. That was the time he decided to make his way out of the water.
Acherons right front leg became black when he tried to step out of the river to escape from its destiny. He was fed up with carrying the dead from the world of the living to the underworld. Also he felt sorry for these souls, sitting there, watching him day by day.
When he made his first step out of the water and tread carefully on the shore, suddenly something black crept up his leg. It was like some sort of oily liquid First he was shocked because he felt it also slowly run up inside of his body. But then he embraced this feeling and made another step. Half his leg had already turned to black when it, all so suddenly it had started, just stopped. He was free. He was solace.

Asteria is the most sensitive Narakari. She has a feel for the subliminal and every hostilities. She is so peace-loving she can get rather bitchy if there are conflicts going on, just to end them. So you can say she is also a brave Narakari. Asteria has a sound sense of dangers and is very careful in everything she does.

Nemesis can be rather wild and really is fearless. She doesn’t like to adapt herself to her environment. She behaves obnoxious and seems to be very self-centered. It is rather difficult to gain her trust. Though Nemesis is such an impulsive and arrogant mare she has these gloomy moments when she needs another being by her side. She’s not bad overall but it requires much patience to get through to her.

Well, because I get strange songs stuck in my head and try to pull something creative off them, I also have a (not quite serious^^') entry for the peotry contest as well:

Sung to the melody to "The Nightingale", an Irish Folk song.
(It's not the version I own, but I think this one is the best known: link!)

"As I went a walking one morning in May
I saw two Narakaris far from hell they did stray:
One was a young mare so sweet and so fair
And the other was a stallion and bad cavalier:

As she grazed sweet and comforted
He would jump all around her,
She went all the way away from him
And searched for another

Patch of nice green grass to eat.
But he chased right after her
And jumped all around just like before
‘Til she ripped a patch from his fur.

He obviously did not learn a darn thing:
Because while bending his neck he pranced all along,
Because throwing his mane he still stayed along her,
Trying to make her finally approving him.

As she grazed sweet and comforted
He would jump all around her,
She went all the way away from him
And searched for another

Patch of nice green grass to eat just for her.
But he chased right after her
And jumped all around just like before
‘Til she ripped a patch from his fur.

The mare turned with anger and beared her sharp teeth,
Shooing him off well all over the heath.
A mighty blow from her three horns made it clear:
She did not wanted the poor stallion to be here.

As she grazed sweet and comforted
He would jump all around her,
She went all the way away from him
And searched for another

Patch of nice green grass to eat.
But he chased right after her
And jumped all around just like before
‘Til she ripped a patch from his fur.

Depressed and sad looking the stallion stood there
Casting long longing glances over to the mare.
But that might be now my stories tragic ending:
There is no lass’ for every foolish stallion this spring!"

Personality: Ever curious Desert Fury is always sticking her nose where it doesn't belong whether that be another stall or someone's pocket. She is an excitable sort and it is difficult to have her hold still when wanting to tack her up for a ride or sort her out for going into the field. DF can be an oddball sometimes as she can be found in strange positions that betray her curiosity. She finds new things very interesting. She doesn't much like other Narakari or any person other than her elf Isabela.

Back story:

The bonding story: She laid her ears back but allowed the new female to slip the headcollar over her head and buckle it up. Red eyes watched as she produced a rope and clipped it onto the headcollar.

Likes: Learning new things about the world, treats (mints being her favorite), jumping, being fussed over, chasing other creatures, mud

Headstrong but really nice.
