Does anyone think Riverkit would be a good name for a calico?

i think riverkit would be more suitable for a grey or blue cat, not really for a calico. however, it depends on why they're getting named that.

tempestclan still has three borders open, and needs some allies and enemies desperately.

also, i asked yesterday but everyone kindoes of overlooked it, so i'll ask again. what do you guys think of tempestclan?

i'm not sure if tempestclan's territory counts as rainforest, but the territory is forested and has a temperate, wet climate. it typically stays the same temperature all year long, and rains a lot. (it almost never snows.)

edit: just looked at wikipedia, and tempestclan's territory would be considered temperate rainforest.

@Katrione - i always thought river- fit a gray tabby more then a calico, but that's just my opinion. :0

@I.C. - i havent been keeping up with a lot of clans ever since i got back on CS, i'll check out tempestclan for sure though, since i really like your writing.

also a question for all of you who keep up with pineclan, but after i finish up my next post, who should i focus on next? i have a lot of cats, so unfortunately a lot of them get lost in the background.

@I.C. - haha thanks! firepaw's one of my favorite characters in pineclan, and i promised kat i'd write about ramhorn, unfortunately he wasn't able to show up in my latest post but aaa... i'll make sure to write about him in my next.

and ooh man, i'm certainly keeping up with tempestclan now, i really love how much tempeststar cares for his clan and how they all socialize with each other. also i found a larger version of leopardflank's image in case you'd like to use that one? :^0

so i had an idea for how my cats from obsidianclan, aspenclan and (shoot i forgot the last one) got to tempestclan territory. my idea was that (since all of the clans have a lot of rivers/lakes/etc.) there was massive flooding, leading to the clans' homes being destroyed and cats getting separated. freckleheart and tigerpaw would've been able to get halfkit and get away from the river, before fleeing to the west and then eventually the south, where they would run into leopardflank and flinteyes. sootshade would've been found by blazenose while herb gathering, and then a small while later tumblekit, thymekit, asterflame and swiftfern would be found after more flooding. asterflame will be distraught at the loss of her kits and mate, but after the kits are found (since her babies were the same age), she'll decide to nurse them in place of her own with swiftfern to comfort her.

ah, that's a big help, actually. thank you!

i'm glad you like tempest--he really is devoted to his clan. he's not quite sure how to do things, and is unfamiliar with clan life, but he tries his best and now has a whole host of cats with experience to help guide him. one of his ongoing things is that he really has a deep connection with starclan, and truly feels like tempestclan has been blessed beyond his expectations. he knows things will get rough, but he's always thankful for the good that happens, and wants the best for his new family. his biggest fear is losing the legacy he's worked so many moons to prepare for and nurture.

also, i'll be keeping tabs on pineclan, too! i really like mintstar as a leader. it looks like she's having a difficult time, and is facing some hard choices, but she's doing the best that she can. if i was one of her warriors, though, i might tell her to relax a bit, but we all know that isn't always possible. i look forward to seeing more development from her.
