When you get a new character (one that's a blank slate), how do you begin to develop them? (Like names, personalities, relationships to other characters, etc.)
Usually with a name- A name can say a lot quq/ its meaning-its origin, and can help give you a feel for the character. After that-I tend to draw them next, then personality, then relationships~

I ended up keeping this guy from my adopt batch- i quite like him /u\

i usually start by connecting the design with music. it makes it easier for me to get into the character. after that, i'm not sure. things just kinda come to me while i think up random head cannons and junk. i know, i'm so helpful

Trying to figure out what I'm going to do with him, but I am pretty darn happy with how he turned out. <3 Probably won't be sold unless I get a good offer of USD. I also have numbers 1 and 3 here. I designed all four, but sold the other two. ^^ Art and designs by me. Those were intended to be panda marked German shepherd mixes, because I felt like designing some Merle and brindle designs and those lines were handy. Cx
