Ah, hello everyone! It's been quite a while since I posted, I apologize. However, I am bringing forth some rather good news! (Or it's good to me xD)
An older site that I believe was advertised here once as well is making a come back! The cs mods have also given us permission to advertise here so oops. Here's the cs thread -> FT In case you didn't want to read all that, Forgotten Toys is making a comeback! It's a more mature (but extremely laid back) community for role-players, writers, and coders and the like. cx All ages are allowed, as long as they are mature enough to handle what goes on. The people are super friendly too!

The layout is a lot easier on the eyes too, and it blends well. c: I believe this applies to the semi-lit+ role-play rule? Seeing that is all that's accepted there, haha.

Going away from the advertising, I'll pose a question: what type of characters do you find easiest to write?
I find stereotypical, quirky females easiest to role-play, but to write, I find just females in general easy. Male, for an odd reason, are harder for me to write, so they're not around often unless they play key roles in a story or I find that I do well with a particular character!

I came up with this idea, but I'm not entirely sure how to execute it:
Basically a group role play where you take your favourite character/character you enjoy playing and gender bend them. Inspired by the gender bent episodes of Adventure Time, of course.

I'm sorry. Can you give me an alternative word then, please? I understand it's a slur when talking about trans people, but I'm talking about swapping cis male and cis female genders. That's honestly the only meaning I've ever used for that word.

lately people have been using cisbent, and rule 63 is a good way of referring to it, too [rule 63 version of (insert character)]. a lot of people use it with no harm intended but it still makes people uncomfortable so

I don't post here often, but I made a new rp that I thought some of you may be interested in. It's sort of a GoT / Merlin cross-over. Set in medieval times with a king, queen, etc etc. Currently excepting five 'glamors' which can be read about in this post. Anywho, here's the plot! c:

magic has always flowed throughout the four kingdoms. it's been a part of every day
life for as long as anyone can seem to remember. when the cold ones came and the c-
old wars began magic became more and more scarce. three hundred years after the
wars and not a single soul remembers the days of magic; the days of glamor. in this
time, when a magic-user is born, they are considered vile and monstrous. sorcerers.
the same goes for those that are not fully human, and it's not often that the elves a-
re spotted across the veil. the dragons and dire wolves in the stories were once real
as well, and yet no one living has ever seen one of the infamous beasts of lore. why?
because they were all killed off during the cold wars, of course. it was during this w-
ar that three of the four kingdoms fell, leaving the daeva house at the helm of the
realm. currently the king of the realm is volsevier daeva, otherwise known as the m-
ad king. many have rose up against the lord, appalled by the thoughtless killings that
occur day to day. there's been talk of rebellion, but any further knowledge of this has
not been found. yet. with the realm in turmoil, what else can go wrong? i'll tell you w-
hat. glamor. thought to be extinct, there have been mutterings of sightings where
people were found to be wielding magics. there's been no conformation from the king
as those accused have long since disappeared. with the realm falling to pieces, the
rebellion is sure to begin at any moment. the question is; which side will you be on?

Oi.. Nothing I join seems to be starting up. Or things just don't even.. come together. You know?

I've been desperately wanting to roleplay a canine lately though and I finally thought up something that's a little on the different side. People who applied would apply for either a "leader", "secondary", "healer", or "fighter" spot. Each character would get randomly placed into four different groups that are in charge of "sections" of this run down, village like island. The sections would be split into four giant squares are centralized around the main tower, which is the goal of all the dogs. The sections are, The Resting, The Punishment, The Learning, and the Lairs. The Resting would be a section of the island devoted to hospitals, old people homes, and stuff of the sorts. The Punishment would be devoted to jails, courts, justice systems, etc., The Learning would be schools, libraries, things to expand on knowledge and The Lairs would be run-down homes, parks, living places.

The reason the dogs would be sent to the island is because while growing up they were exposed to a type of radiation that caused zombies to spring up on the island. Which means these canines are the only living things known to man-kind that won't get infected by human zombie bites. I'm not sure if I'll include canine zombies that could potentially zombify the group or not.

Anyhow, it all boils down to four groups being sent to a zombie infested island trying to fight their way to the middle. I'm pretty sure I'll be throwing in plot twists and all sorts of crazy stuff along the way. It'll kind of be like (this is so painful for me to say with how anti-hunger games I am) the clock-island from the Hunger Games only not quite so.. clock like. It'll more so be like, "Oh no! The Learning has a pack of seven zombies closing in on group 2!", etc.

Would anyone be interested in something like this? Or would they be interested if it were humans instead of dogs?
