Congrats on ordering your first doll and welcome in forward in the world of BJD! I actually got a Luts Delf Jace yesterday as a group gift for my birthday! This time I will try and remember to take pictures and post them here as well <3

I never remember to post here! Let me introduce my dolls - a Bobobie Mei/Yao, and a DollFamily uh Zi... I forget. Anyway, her name's Kizmet, and the Mei/Yao is Nashirah.

As you can see she has posable/jointed hands which makes her super awesome - I definitely recommend them. Here's everybody decorating the tree!

Well, technically it's not a BJD (It's a Pullip) but I'm still excited nonetheless. I'm getting an Isul, the Johan Retro Memory Version doll. I'm super excited and hopefully it will come on Friday.

I will get the regular Isul Johan next. I think I'm addicted to Pullips because they look like BJD's, but they aren't and are very affordable. Especially since their clothes are by lolita brands, and I'm a big lolita fan too. I really want to get a BJD from Doll Chateau (maybe for my birthday) but they're pretty expensive as well. I don't like the ones with the extra joints, I just like their creepy dolls and how unique each one is.

Extra joints are creepy? Don't tell that to Kismet, my doll with the jointed hands, she'll come wiggle her fingers at you

Both of those are beautiful! Congrats on getting a Pullip! iirc the one I have was also done by some EGL house, but I'm afraid I'm not able to remember their name at the moment. They're beautiful little dolls and totally counted as BJDs. But if you ever want to get into BJDs, I'd recommend looking at the Bobobie, ResinSoul and Hujoo brands. They're a little bit more expensive but completely doable as far as price goes - only a little worse than a Pullip.
