No, it doesn't help as it is not correct. 1 hand is approx 10,16 cm. And if we reach Narakari heights there will already 2 cm difference if I follow our example.

Oh, I got that from a book. All my horse books say 10 cm = 1 hand. Makes me a bit annoyed that it doesn't give the exact amount though..
