regarding Millie- i cannot stand her. i love her kits but i hate her. of course Greystripe runs away and finds Millie, but what's annoying is that they fall in love. it's too cliché. especially after Silverstream. i understand he needed to move on, but he meets ONE new female and boom, they're mates with kits. Millie is just an unlikable character for me. she's "too" nice and stuff in the beginning. then when Briarlight is injured, she completely ignores her other kits and she was so mean to Blossomfall.
I read the manga where Greystripe meets Millie before I read the books where he returns.
I was expecting that Millie was going to be nice, but not to nice, have huge interest in the Clans and want to live by their traditions, and also respect every Clan cat.
But I was wrong. The personality I described there was how she acted in the manga but in the main series she seemed dull, unemotional boring, too kind and had no common sense.
In the manga, she had lots of common sense. She could 'talk' to dogs, in the sense that if she came across a stupid house dog (e.g. like my dog... My dog's really stupid, but I still love him ofc <3 ) she would just say simply, "no, stop," if they chased her. Which proves to work if you just use a stern voice towards any dog that acts like mine. And Millie was actually very smart in the manga.
So, in conclusion:
Main series Millie sucks. Manga Millie is okay. The Erins are inconsistent.
