Ive never cried, but my eyes did tear up on some deaths.
Cinderpelt's had to be the one I was the most upset about. She's my favorite medicine cat, and she managed to stay enthusiastic despite her tragic accident and all she lost. In my opinion she had some of the best character development in the series. And for her great character to die off so suddenly? It came as quite a shock.
I also teared up during Yellowfang's death, another great example of an amazing character.

SPOILER: the worst warriors death for me was Mica's in Moth Flight's Vision. Gosh, I loved that character, and I was like 'hes so amazing and the erins are going to kill him i just know it' ... i had a stuffy nose the next day... SPOILER END


Ok, abotu the warriors movie.
It's going to be Live Action from what I've heard on CatCast.

Yup.
Real cats.
Have fun doing any fight scenes without PETA getting all in their faces.

It's probably going to be done similar to how they did Nine Lives, if anyone saw that? The cat was obviously animated at many points in that movie... And I'm worried that they'll cut characters or merge them. Cloudtail and Cinderpelt could easily be merged, or Lionheart, Whitestorm, and Redtail all put into one character. I could see tons of minor characters being overlooked and left unmentioned such as Brindleface (spoiler: until she dies that is, since its important). Swiftpaw and Brightheart might be left out due to too much gore. Brokenstar could even be cut out, or his story changed to make it more 'child friendly.'

Yeah... now that I think about it, Brokenstar is pretty similar to Slagar from Redwall, and they got an entire TV show season out of Slagar, so maybe not? Idk.

Something that REALLY worries me is Spottedleaf. What will they do with Spottedleaf. Will they make her obviously be infatuated with Firepaw? Because, if so... ugh. Time for angry fans. Hopefully they keep it the same, but I doubt it. Lifetime mate vs childhood crush, amirite? Hnng...

I don't dislike Spottedleaf, but... her crush on Firepaw is not only disturbing but also not built up at all. And they make such a huge deal out of it. ''do i pick the cat who has stood by my side since we were apprentices and kept me safe, gone on huge quests with me to protect me and lloved me throughout it all, or the creepy dead herb ghost that stalks me? Hmmm, so tough.."

i'm pretty excited for it! there's so many possibilities in ways it could go right, but also wrong.
eh i just hope they don't actually injure the cats when they get hurt or sick. . . i would cry ;w;
also !! omg i've heard that the same producer or director ( i can't remember which ) of harry
potter is going to be the same as the warrior movies. so i hope they will at least be a bit good.

1) I have definitely cried from these books! I've probably cried at just about every death in the series.
2) I was REALLY hoping the movie would be 2d animated... I think it would be so much fun to see them cartoonified, because with illustration its a lot easier to portray character traits on animals (think oliver, lady and the tramp, aristocats...) Also if it were 2d animated, there wouldn't be so much pressure for the movie to look realistic. like, the cats talk to each other for starclan's sake. a real cat opening its mouth and talking would disturb me greatly.

bola, true. but they could always just have the cat stand there and have their voice be heard but have their mouth not open? that possibility is really low and probably won't happen but you can't be certain. there are several other options so let's just hope they discover that it would disturb some of the audience. i think, personally, the animated drawn version would of been a lot better. when i first ran into the fandom i really hoped they would make movies someday. i always had imagined them as animated drawings but to know that they aren't going to be is. . . rather shocking. i'm still not going to let this roadblock stand in the way of enjoying the movie. i just feel like not everyone is going to be satisfied and also i feel that this would recruit more members into the fandom but also drive some away if they don't like the movie. then they would never give the books a chance ;u;

It would be cool if the movie was 2d animated, but I heard it might be 3D or something. I would be fine with either of those things as long as they aren't real cats!!!

I couldn't imagine that happening. I could imagine that turning a lot of fans off, because if you're doing that, then you're removing a lot from the books. And what if they did sequels? Try to imagine The New Prophecy without Squirrelflight and Leafpool...

But if they do deside to cut tons of characters from the movie, then these are the characters that I couldn't imagine them cutting-

Graystripe too probably

Yeah I'm worried about them cutting out Cloudtail. Others like a lot of the elders might get cut out too which would really ruin it for me. Also like all movies I bet they'll change the storyline a bit and cut out some of it.
(kinda of spoilers maybe)And I agree that if the movie gets up to the part with the dogs they might misout Brightheart which is said because she has genuinely always been one of my favourites.
