Oh, I know what you mean. My previous fursona, Saquoia, I created her 3 years ago and up until a few months ago still had her. Even though she really didn't represent me one little bit (except for the species, panther). I just could bear to let her go until Tupaco :3

Same here, it took a long time to switch from my first fursona to Gator, but in the end it all worked out. Since I changed a bit in the past year, I thought Ana might show the brighter side of me now. But I guess I can't let go of my arrogant antlered Gator c:
