I also love the movies. The imaginary chess play and the possible fighting moves with Moriaty are good and like how Sherlock and Watson get portrayed

I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )

But Sherlock is much better.
Though I do advice watching some of the old movies featuring Sherlock Holmes. Nothing is better than the books.
Yes I do agree, Robert Downey Jr isn't the type of man I would expect to play Sherlock - he's a great actor but he lacks the intense insanity and passion Bendict Cumberbatch delivers. However on the whole, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

I watched the first movie but didn't get around to the second.
I guess it was a great plot, but the actors just weren't the right ones for the job. Watson was all uptight and.. I dunno... sort of vague, if you know what I mean. I don't really know what I mean, so I doubt you will. All I know is, Martin Freeman is much better as Watson.
And Robert Downey Jr... Ugh. Did not strike me as the Sherlock type, especially after seeing Benedict Cumberpatch. He was slower, and mostly hit people.
The funny parts were funny, but then they just had to throw in a mostly-naked Sherlock moment. After that I was less impressed.
I must say I liked the Irene Addler in the movies. She's good in the show, I love her there, but the movie Irene is also awesome. The thing between her and Sherlock is a lot more intense in the show, though. In the movie it was like, ho-hum, what do you know, they love each other.
Also, in the books Irene is American. In the movie they followed this, but in the show she's British. What's up with that?

Why: Because I absolutely love Sherlock Holmes, in each and every one of his incarnations. The original stories and the BBC adaptation are my favourite renditions, though, hands-down. I've read the stories at least twice each, and more for some, and BBC Sherlock... well, I've lost count. It's an amazing show -with excellent characterization, writing, acting (and actors... *cough*Benedict Cumberbatch <3*cough*), and, well, just everything.
how much have you watched: I've seen all of Season One 6 times, and the first two episodes of Season Two 4 and 5 times respectively. I've only watched Reichenbach twice. It's too painful. DX
