Ok, so I have been waiting to do this idea for a while, but it's not originally my idea, and I don't know what to do. Years ago I role played on Howrse, and one of my friends came up with an idea for a role play that never really took off, but I thought it was a good idea. It was about a new mall being built in town, everyone coming to the grand opening, but suddenly the lights go out and the doors lock, and a message comes over the intercom that the people locked inside have been chosen to participate in a government experiment. They would be locked in the mall for X amount of time, basically surviving and keeping alive. Their actions would be recorded for research purposes, and all of the 'employees' have been removed from the mall, leaving the 100 or so bewildered civilians to battle it out for food, water, and whatever else they need. There would be no heat or air conditioning, no lights or electricity, and I was thinking maybe running water in a select few places, since without it things inside a closed building would become rather... gross and filthy if you catch my drift. But I don't want to steal this persons idea, and I don't know how to contact them anymore. So what do you guys think, should I just forget it?

i LOVE this SOO much. I don't care if I have to do a one on one with you but I will die if I can't role play something like this.

Edit: Bull is right though. It would be stealing. If I can help you come up with a plot with a similar aspect or two [civillians caught in a government experiment type thing] I'd be happy to.

As much as I like the idea, I think it's wrong to use someone's idea without their consent. No matter how old it is.

I've kind of been dying for a roleplay that takes place during WW2, where children of wealthy families from Europe are sent to an American academy during the war. It would be malexmale, and one of the students is trying to hide his sexuality considering it wasn't as accepted back in the day, but finds himself attracted to one of the European boys and doesn't know how to confess, so he bullies him instead. Lots of conflict and bittersweet feelings.

But like I have no spare time on my hands right now so really small and relaxed literacy.

Anyway. Who here likes wolf roleplays? I have two semi-lit ones that haven't started yet and one literate one that's almost finished being made.

This one is about a pack of wolves that has ruled over their land for generations and has never needed to set territory boundaries because they've never had any rivals, but now there is a new pack looking to settle in the area and the pack that has been there for a long time, Ashen Wood, isn't welcoming. They have the advantage of knowing their land well, but they aren't as skilled in fighting as the new pack, Hollow Hills.

Collide. Nestled deep in a forest of evergreens were two pack territories, each one spreading far and wide. Each pack had their own way of living- that was the very reason they were two instead of one. They were divided by their inability to see eye-to-eye. So instead, they agreed to disagree. It was a rather normal life with the usual bickering between the packs, fighting over territory and accusing each other of crossing the border lines.

Their relatively tranquil world was suddenly brought crashing down when an old enemy, the Bringer of Death, otherwise known as Bane, returned. Long ago, there was only one pack in the land and their only enemy was Death, a bitter dead wolf who thought every living wolf should feel loss and destruction. When a war broke out between the dead and the living, one wolf and a few of his comrades joined Death's side. His name was Bane. The living won and he was killed in the battle, though, and the wolves celebrated, thinking that would be the end of it.

They were wrong.

After the battle was over, troubles arose and the pack separated into two; the Red Dawn Pack and the Silver Tides Pack.

And now, Bane is back and wants revenge. He is tempting the weak-minded into his trap, making empty promises of a better life. However, every time Bane makes a successful catch, that wolf dies in the real world and is then forced to choose; become a prisoner of Bane's, or join him.

Winter's Myth. Humans had always been mindless, clueless creatures. They didn't stop to notice the little things and always hurried to believe that they were invincible. They were the strongest, smartest, most intelligent life form to reside on Earth. The few times that other animals were spoken of were in fictional stories thought up by creative minds. But it was merely entertainment to the humans; they never would have assumed that those creatures of myth actually existed. They never thought that maybe, just maybe, it was the wolves who were truly the kings. And that they were real.

The wolves, on the other hand, were much more aware of their surroundings. They were clever and thoughtful and learned to survive, even with the careless human beings ruining the land at every other turn. Wolves adapted, but they didn't make themselves known. The humans were too curious. If they knew of the wolves existence, they would interfere worse than they already were. So wolves kept to themselves, following one simple law: Do not let the humans see you.

So no-one seems to be creating good pirate rps, so guess that means I have take on the challenge but first...

Is anyone interested in joining it....

The plot would involve the crew sailing to some strange island, in hopes of digging up a cursed treasure.
They all think it's just a story to keep people from digging the treasure up but all breaks loose when they take the treasure.
The Island starts to shift, plant life starts to disappear, causing the animals to flee. They would thrown into the ocean and watch as the island swims away.
And then they would be hunted by humanoid sea creatures
etc, etc, etc.

Still working on the full plot
I was thinking it would have slightly preset characters like:

The young captain
The captain's best friend and the first mate
The runaway princess (that would be me)
The cook that doesn't know the first thing about cooking.
The Spy from the palace - queen of leopards
The thief - Kiro & Hikari
The Casanova
and so on

Might I suggest giving credit to the person. It's not fool proof but at least it would be clear that you're not claiming it as your own
