Literally kicking myself for letting my roleplays die, so tempted to restart them now that I've got no work on my hands for the whole summer...

Yo I can teach you guys if you want! ^w^ I have a few tumblr roleplays so I have the basics. What you do is make a new blog - and if you want, set it to private - and then invite your rp partner(s) to the group. Once they accept, post them to admin, and then use a text post to start off! You can do it one of two ways; post a new text per roleplayer, and include all your characters in that one post, or post a text per character and reblog it to the blog you're using with whichever character is interacting with that other character.

So I'm in this really awesome rp that I can't wait to start. There are just some little holes with the plot that are making it hard for me to figure out my character exactly. I want him to be really into reading, but with the plot as it is I don't think it would make sense for him to know how to read. But I also don't really understand how the kids would develop language growing up alone (ie the feral child, Genie), let alone a common language. Should I just gloss over those details?
