There's this song by House of Heroes called God Save the Foolish Kings, and I'd really like to make a role play based off it.
It would focus on a rumble between two private school "gangs", although more like cliques because private school, the Lions and the Kings. The cliques have been around for decades, and both are comprised of the more popular students, mostly jocks or members of student government. They've always fought, but this rumble is expected to be huge. Most of they're significant others are concerned.

I'm not sure how I want the rumble to go yet since we can't get graphic on here. I was thinking maybe we could include a Romeo and Juliet side plot, and maybe someone squeals to a teacher about the fight or something.

There were always six. Six helpers, six dragons, six riders. Every three hundred years, six humans would be chosen to have the honor to take up arms and take to the skies on the backs of six dragons that had been cared for by their helpers. Dragons are strictly female. These creatures have frightening powers over an element -- water, earth, fire, air, and spirit -- while only one legendary dragon controls all five of these forces and are also shifters. Such power could not be without consequences, however, and the helpers were responsible to alleviate their pains, their bouts of depression, violence, and anger. There were only six coveted opportunities to stand next to such beings on equal grounds -- the honor of every young adult's life.

Together, the six dragons and their riders brought peace to their world. Their jobs done and prosperity restored, the dragons slept and the need for riders faded. For on thousand years the world was calm, jubilant and without war. The kings and queens of their lands had little trouble in their rule, and even the smallest village bloomed with activity and wealth. But in the year of the rebirth of the spirit dragon -- the one thousandth year -- the dragons began to notice strange disappearances of humans in the world. Recalling an age old ritual passed down for generations, new riders were chosen. A new generation of heroes were sent out to save the world.

Unbeknownst to them, the father [and the only male] of all dragons had risen from his age old slumber. Insane, stripped of his power, and his helper and rider murdered, he seeks vengeance and retribution. The only solution, he decided, was to steal the powers of his children and kill their riders -- the same that had happened to him. Now he patiently waits for the dragons and their riders, feeding on the bones of the kidnapped humans as he anticipates the return of his powers. And thus the dragons and riders rush to certain danger for the sake of many.

But will they be enough?

anyone interested if I remake this over on AS?
I'd remove either the riders or the helpers, so instead of so many characters there would only be 12

I think I'll remove the female restriction for the dragons ,and then have riders be called helpers instead cause idk
I was thinking of tweaking the plot, what do you think? If there's no other interest I don't mind turning it into a one x one

anyone know of a smaller golden compass-esque roleplay? OR just a roleplay that uses that animals as soul companion thing? Don't mind group for once, but I won't join if it was over like 6 members

I HAD my idea with daemon esc. beings. The one that involved multiple planes of existence and a dragon. But it didn't really lift off like I wanted it to. I'd be willing to move it to AS and limit the characters if I got interest in it again. I was really looking forward to it and was kind of depressed out never got air. ):
