Why are people so toxic to widow players in competitive?

sadly its bc some people expect widows to carry or automatically think they are going to be awful, doing enough damage and getting picks is enough just call out your targets youve made low so someone can help with it.

I've been trying to get out of Bronze recently (I know I'm really bad). I was doing really well, but now my PC has this lag thing and I can't do as well ): I've been getting 4-5 golds as Moira though, which is nice! I just can't play currently which makes me sad. I am so close to getting into silver (like only 2 wins away). But my PC isn't currently allowing me to play well and I am a little frustrated lol.

I can't wait for the new map!!! Same w/ reaper's new skin omg. I've been playing as him more often and he's really fun to play, so I'm super excited for this new blackwatch skin.

Thanks for putting the link to the comic. This one gave a lot of little lore bits that help connect things way more but also rise up new questions, some of which that might be answered during the event. But I'm curious to see what people think about this comic. I really want to see how this affects the characters.

Gabriel putting on his hood at the end is really symbolic showing this is the beginning to his change to becoming the Reaper. I think his desire (whether it be vegence or doing what he thinks is right) to fight back against talon might be part of why he did the testing with Moira that gave him his 'ghost' abilities.

And how do the events in this comic affect the other characters? What do any of you think?

McCree is probably still getting over his time as a criminal before he joined overwatch and might not have the best moral compass yet. The fight against Talon might be what develops him into the justice bringer he is at the current time the game is based in. Though he might not have the best view of what justice is.

Genji is going through his intense phase after becoming a cyborg. He hasn't found his peace yet with himself with Zenyatta yet. I'm still wanting to see how his relationship with Mercy is at this time. Is he mad at her for making him a cyborg? Does he blame her? Or does he thank her for a second chance? Is he similar to how he was before his physical change being childish, foolish, and not thinking of consequences?

We don't know much about Moira yet so it would be nice to see some more about her with this event. I'm hoping her outfit in the comic becomes a new skin for the event.

And even Amelie (widowmaker) is going through a lot most likely even though we don't see her yet. That is, if she is married to Gerard during the events of the comic.

I'm really excited to see the new lore this event could offer, and especially how the characters all react and change. This will probably tie up a lot more of the story.

Poor guy went neglected with zero event skins for ages, it's nice to finally see him get one even though I don't play him.
