Further explaining the adoption cap options.

Option 1: Four weeks (meaning four rounds.) after reaching your character adoption limit, you will have one more adoption slot added. You can save this slot until you see a character you really want, you don't have to use it right away. Then after your next adoption, you have to wait another four weeks before you can adopt again. And no, no amount of begging and pleading can get us to give you an exception during this grace period. You have to choose which character you want carefully.

Option 2: The adopter will contact either me or Atwood and request another slot after reaching five adoptions. You have to prove you have been using this character by showing art, writing, a link to a roleplay, something. Simply putting the picture in a character thread does not suffice. When you next adopt, you will note which staffer (myself or Atwood) signed off on your new slot. If anyone has a problem, they should come to the staff member, not the user.

Option 3: Put both together, the waiting period AND proof of use.

Option 4: Keep the current cap system.

Option 5: Obligatory other. Share your ideas.

I think I's like a combination of the two, but not both the way it's meant for the poll...
I think maybe you could either wait the four weeks, or, if you can't wait and really want a character that will be gone before the four weeks are over, then you can PM Wendigo or Atwood, show proof and request another slot.

I like the second one; the first just opens up a lot of problems and people with 50 characters that they don't use. ;P
