I love Super Paper Mario, such an underrated game.

Indeed fellow SPM lover! Super DUPER underrated! I don't know why people don't like it. Maybe because of all the text? Cause this game has a lot and it sometimes annoys even an SPM lover such as myself that I wish to skip it but I can't cause I forget if they say something important DX BUT! I still love the story and the text~! I do enjoy all the soundtracks, lore, platforming, and bunches of other stuff in it though.

I think most people dislike it for its lack of turn-based battles. Being an avid reader, I never minded the dialogue.

I love its complex and dark story, yet its ability to provide humor that gets so many laughs out of me. Not to mention its fantastic characters. Gotta love Count Bleck, Tippi, Mimi, Dimentio, O'Chunks, Nastasia... its all so great!

Oh, and the music. I cant fathom how much I love the game''s soundtrack. Especially Floro Sapiens Caverns, my personal favorite. Such an epic song.

Welp, hello.

Been awhile, hasn't it?! Sorry for my inactivity. To be honest, in the chaos of a new period of my life, I was so bombarded with new things that I had no time to post much. My slow decline in checking the site ultimately led to not checking at all over time... But now that life has smoothed over, I figured it'd be a great time to come back and post! I know now that I'll be able to consistently post and keep everyone updated and whatnot.

This club has been inactive for awhile, but I mostly blame myself. I hope this new post helps get the word out to others that I will be posting here and looking for others to talk with!

Again, I apologize for my absence, but I look forward to future discussion!

Additionally, I'll be shortly performing an overhaul on the fonts I use for this club. The new font I have in this post is more true to the series, I feel. So since I'll be editing the main posts, if anyone has any suggestions for things to include or exclude, feel free to let me know.

And lastly, it appears our co-owner Lyndseynice is inactive. Should she return, she is free to resume her role as the co-owner, but in the mean time, I will be searching for an additional moderator. man, as of late I've been playing odyssey and mk8d, and it's all fun tbh. also, what would be chaotic is a remake of double dash. specifically where you connect with someone else and two people from maybe opposite sides of the world piloting a kart together.

A remake of Double Dash certainly would be killer (funny how I was listening to a song from that game as I read this)
But I don't know how co-piloting the kart would work online. You can't exactly communicate with the other person so you can't work together very well, and either one person would be stuck using items while the other gets to drive, or it'd be chaos with people trying to switch places throughout the race.

Can you imagine the chaos of a 24 player lobby esp in battles it would be insane!!
A system like portal 2 had would work well, one of you presses the button and it gives the other the prompt to do so for 3 seconds. So you could request the switch and the other player could chose to swap with you
Nintendo don't let you send messages to strangers so its not like anyone could start fights over it either.
I would love to see double dash remade even without that though. By far my favourite mariokart
