@taeyon: Don't worry about it! We've all been busy lately with family and the holidays. It's all good!
I totally agree with you about Ron shooting Carl's eye out. I think what is going to happen in the next half of the season is honestly, Jessie and Sam are going to die. I think Jessie will die like she does in the comics after getting grabbed by walkers [cause of Sam-] and Rick chops her hand off because she is holding onto Carl.
Sam will end up dying somehow too and my guess is, we're going to think Ron is dead as well, but after the group gets somewhere safe, he'll show up with a gun, and probably be bit and he'll go to shoot Rick, but Carl will jump in front of his dad, therefore getting his eye shot out. Then Michonne will kill Ron.

My only problem, is it is so hard to make the eye shot out realistic. I personally don't care whether Carl loses his eye or not, I just am hoping they explain it in a good way.

I was having the whole annoying Sam conversation with my family and they did agree by saying that Jessie was something to show Rick that not all hope is lost (after Lori), but ofc, Sam is most likely going to kill someone other than himself in that situation, though it honestly doesn't seem like Rick is that interested if he decides to chop off Jessie's hand. Won't lie though, his son and his daughter are his everything, so I guess family first!

Good theory as to what might happen with the next set of episodes. I think it'll play out very nicely, but the only thing I'm wondering is: How is Ron going to survive?
He lacks all basic skills of survival and probably can't do anything to save his life. Plus, he might waste all his ammo trying to save his mom/brother or trying to get out of Alexandria.

As for Carl and his lost eye, I'm hoping they just shoot it like you said: Carl standing in front of Rick to dodge the bullet, but instead, Carl screams or something and the show blacks out and recovers to Carl with a bandage over his eye.
I don't think they're gonna try to soften it up to PG-13, but I hope they've realized that it might be hard to play out, since, like Asgore Dreemurr. said, Carl cannot possibly live, and how much makeup/CGI they might use and still it won't look great.

Either way, the comic, itself was never realistic - the fact that the bullet shoots out almost half of Carl's face (unless they took to using a rocket launcher, which is not what happened). I'd like to see how the directors plan to show it, though!

//Quick Question: Who do you think is gonna kill everyone first? Sam or Neegan?

psst, the answer is Sam

I agree, I mean it would be interesting to see how they explain Carl losing his eye if they decide to do it, because they would need to find a way to explain how he lives without having multiple issues with his brain. I mean like you said, the comics were never very realistic, and I know that Kirkman has said that he wishes that he could redo some things in the comics.

As for your question, honestly I think Sam will kill quite a few people. I'm guessing he's going to get his family killed, and then Negan will take out quite a few people as time goes on. It's been said we wont physically SEE Negan until the season finale though, so if Negan does kill off people, it'll be either his group killing people, or people will end up dying in the next season to Negan.

Since we are in a big discussion about Carl's eye, I'm going to make a poll about it in a bit so fill free to cast your votes when it is up guys!

I know it's supposed to add onto his character, but really, it's not needed
He's already lost his Mom, and has to take care of his little sister since Rick's often too busy.
Not to mention his kill streak back at the prison, his stupid love triangle, and when he caused Dale's death.
He's had PLENTY of development with sad/guilt stuff.
It's just not needed
If they do it for ''character adding/ developement'' then go and shot Rosita, Gabriel, or any other character that we know next to nothing about

Definitely agree with that last bit and was thinking about it myself.
Some deus ex machina thing is gonna come in and save Carl from losing an eye, but instead, probably taking someone else's life. Maybe it'll be something like the book Rot and Ruin where Rick is allegedly dead. Maybe Carl decided his tyrant dad wasn't worth saving. Rude, but possible.

I 100% agree with you Asgore, Carl has been through so much already.

He's been shot by Otis, caused Dale's death [unintentionally, but still], lost his mother, not to mention his kill streak at the prison like you said.
Now he's having to take care of his baby sister because Rick's too busy, and he's also got to worry about Ron wanting to murder him becuse of Enid, all while dealing with his stupid love triangle which yes, his 110% stupid in my opinion, don't know who else agrees with that but the love triangle is honestly pointless.
He's had plenty of development from season one to now, honestly like Carol, he is the second character who's had the most character development, because we've literally seen this kid grow up through the seasons.

If they want to have character development, they need to do something with a character we know little to nothing about, like you said, Rosita, Gabriel, Eugene could use more character development. Maybe even Ron or Jessie, or even Aaron or Eric. Just someone else outside of Carl that we know little to nothing about.

I don't know if it's just me who doesn't think Sam will kill anybody. I think it's just one of those things TWD does in the mid-season finale, making fans think that someone's going to die by just adding a guy with a gun or randomly putting a hoard of walkers onto a person. Maybe the next episode will just be about Daryl and the group, and then the second episode would go back to Rick's group since they've been doing that recently. They just wanted to leave you in awe at the ending, nobody wants a show that ends with people walking with walkers.. It's cool, but eh.

I would love to know more about Denise! She's an amazing character, and the thing that happened with the wolf guy was probably a sign that something might happen to her. You can tell Gabriel's trying to fit in, or just maybe betraying the group again even though Rick hates him, so I wouldn't worry about him too much. ;)

Honestly that's how I think the next episode is going to go, it's going to focus more on Daryl then it is what's happening in Alexandria. Since after the mid-season finale we did get that clip with Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham getting stopped by the group of guys who said everything now belongs to Negan.

I wouldn't be surprised if they focused on Daryl's part of the group for the next episode, considering I think it would be hard to switch back and forth like they've done in the past, go from Alexandria, which is covered in walkers, and possibly have a character die, then go to Daryl and have things be somewhat peaceful and they are just sort of roaming around until they get stopped by those guys. It would take some away from the affect, like in the full Daryl episode we had in the past where they kept switching back to Abraham and Sasha who were just sitting in one place and nothing was really happening to them and all of this bad stuff was happening to Daryl.

Completely off topic, but a small announcement: We have a new stamp!

What are you guys thoughts on the new stamp?

I love it! But is there any reason why Dead is coming first? xD.

Jessie did have lots of character development though, probably the most throughout a short span of time. We saw her as an artist and a barber with 2 kids and a husband when we first met her, and that she's lived in Alexandria before the apocalypse. We find out about her abusive husband that she doesn't want to tell anybody about. Then when her husband died, we saw her kill someone with scissors and use a knife/gun for the first time to defend herself, since this is all still really new to her.

I guess it really isn't as much as Carl because we've seen him grow up throughout the 6 seasons, but maybe Jessie's was too rushed? I don't feel like we know a lot about her, but it'd be interesting to see more. Either way, I feel like the directors and writers did a good job developing the characters in Alexandria, like Denise or Deanna.
