That sounds really awful! Me and my friends were talking about gay marriage, since it was just banned where I'm from, less than a week after me and my family moved here. So, one of their friends made some stupid joke about how gays are freaks and started laughing! And my friend is just like 'oh, that;s nothing to joke about' while laughing, but I think it was fake. I HOPE it was fake...

People like them make me sick...

I remember one year in highschool one of my friends tried really hard to support it. When we were in class together, playing volleyball I think, I tried to do all of the talking for her. Of course I failed, and I think she fell and blurted out "ow" and "oh dang" or something, so that didn't end out well. She got pretty far, though.

Oh man... I don't have a clue what I'm going to do, since my parents don't know yet, they'll probably be extremely confused as to why I'm not talking? Maybe I'll find some excuse to go somewhere the whole day, which won't be easy, since they'd still have pick me up, and I'd have to talk there, etc... This is going to be difficult but I'm determined!!

If you have to talk don't worry about it, it really means a lot that you're just trying and no ones going to think any less if you blurt out an "ow" or something like that. :3

Trust me, it's hard but it's kinda fun. I used the excuse my throat hurt so I wrote/typed all day. Since it was a school day I actually printed off a DOS "permission slip" type of thing from the GLSEN website to show my teachers. I'll track it down and link it in the first post soon.

Are you part of the LGBT community?: So far, I don't know. I've never really had time to figure out my orrientation since all of my past relationships weren't that serious. But, from what I am feeling so far, probably heteromantic. So, kind of. Wow I just rambled on...
Why would you like to participate/support this cause?: I have fmaily members and friends who are apart of the LGBT community and I love them dearly. Some of them have gone through harsh bullying due to their orrientation. Plus, I absolutely hate hearing jokes and people putting down others just because of their orrientation. I try to stick up for the LGBT community as much as possible and this would be taking my stand to the next level.

Ugh I was online and since the day of silence is mainly for schools, people seem to think you can't be bullied just as much out of school?!? I'm not in school, and I'm participating. It means a lot to me, and I really don't care what people say... I'll find a way to make it happen!
