Is it actually worth it, to get VIP?
I've always considered it

In my opinion it is. Definitely go for the 50 pass option to get one month free. ^^; And think through the perks you can choose from and don't pick the dumb ones like I did. uvu

Some of the perks are so fantastic so yeah, VIP is definitely worth it. It's not that hard to qualify for it either!

I was looking at all of those options, and they seem really worthwhile its just that the money I'd have to fork over for those 50 passes would kill me...
I can afford it, its just a lot of money and I'm a tad cheap
Another thing- if you age your horse past age 30 and send to heaven, do you get a pass or something? I was never really clear on that

Yes, if your horse is mortal and you age it past 30 then you will receive a pass. You can only do this ten times each month, though.

I've always debated about joining a KWPN team; in a way I think it would be nice to work as a team to produce a line of quality horses, and I think it would provide incentive to keep at it because at the moment I'm a bit lassie-faire. But, I also don't know if I'd want the expectation that I'd constantly be there to contribute. I guess if I ever found a relaxed group with clear targets and expectations I'd consider it.

I'm super excited about one of my young mares: http://www.howrse.com/elevage/fiche/?id=43659331 she had her 20 competitions won by 8 years of age and I've finished her top 3 skills already. Now the question is do I splurge and just use APs to complete her blup and breed her, or do I take my time with her?
