what did you think of soma/mark's play through of soma?

SOMA was good, but not top ten games good. It was far too philosophical to me, and rather depressing. It also went against what I believed a little, which is NOT inherently bad, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't enjoyable.
Markimoo, however, made the game for me. I loved seeing the choices he made, it made me get a better grasp on what kind of man he is. His commentary was excellent too, and he was actually the only real reason I kept with the game. Meaning that I won't be seeing anybody else play it, especially since the choices don't change the story dramatically, like Until Dawn, for example.

Also, please tell me there is Markiplier and Bubble Butt fan art out there. I loved how that little robot was the new Tiny Box Tim.

what did you think of soma/mark's play through of soma?

i haven't seen mark's playthrough and i don't think i'm going to. i'm not even done watching another youtuber play it and honestly its hard to sit through. not that its an awful game, i love that you can interact with everything, but it's really hard to watch for long periods of time. it's just one of those games that i always stop and then i go to watch something else and then i go back to it and repeat, that's why the youtuber im watching has been done soma for a week at least but im still watching it. he also does them in almost hour long sessions and its so hard to sit through. its a nice game, interesting story [which, however, is kind of hard to follow], but not one of my favorites so far. i want to like the game thoroughly but its difficult to be interested in it for some reason.

what did you think of soma/mark's play through of soma?

I really liked Soma! It sort of reminded me of Alien: Isolation with all the advanced technology and futuristic theme. The way the doors work and building interiors are similar, but the two games are vastly different overall. The ending was extremely depressing. I'm all about science and technology (along with anything art wise), and think that a situation like that could very well happen in our lifetime... but we'll most likely be grandparents by then. I would really like to see a sequel of Soma on land instead of in the sea.

As for Mark's play through... love his attitude towards the game! His choices and his deep explanations to why he chose them is very unique. It was also funny to see him panic at the monsters xD

I imagine there will be tons of Bubble Butt fanart. That robot is adorable and I want one lol <3

so, if you don't have a twitter, you'll have no idea why he didn't post twice yesterday, yes?
mark posted a tweet saying his power went out. he posted a few random tweets that were weird, because this is mark we're talking about. and, after a couple of hours, he posted another saying he was going to go get a puppy!
he hasn't gotten her yet, because as he said later, "i think i found the perfect puppy but i can't bring her home until next week"

so yay! mark might be getting a puppy, finally! thank you la for loosing power yesterday~

Now I'm so hyped for the puppy! Cross my fingers and my dog's paws that she makes his life better and that he does the same for her, and Matt and Ryan in that fray.

anyone else really excited for the following:

1. the puppy he'll be getting tomorrow
2. his play through of undertale, whenever he gets back to it

i wanted to wait for him to play through the whole game, but i was bored, so i watched the gg play it. i love their sans voice <3
but i definitely can't wait to see Mark's reactions to the game

and with the puppy- i LOVE dogs, and so i can't wait to see the pup he picked out ahh

I'm excited for him getting a puppy! I've always wanted a dog and absolutely LOVE them. He seems like a dog person, I know that much.

I'm not as excited for his playthrough of Undertale. Why? Because I want to play it myself, but for some reason, my computer would run it. Something about failing to launch DX3D or something. So, I have to wait until I get a new computer to play it, which might be for Christmas, but it looks like it will probably be a graduation or birthday gift. Anyways, I don't want to watch ANY Undertale playthrough because I don't want spoilers, which always make my playthrough of the game less interesting.

Sooo, yeah, not really excited for that.

However, I am hoping that Mark'll release a Christmas video or two this year, like he did last year. I miss Santa, LOL.
