@Azuri, thanks. I looked quickly in the AH, doing females only as I find them more rare and using only basic genes. And this is what I found:

Wildclaw - 150k
Pearlcatcher - 150k

Spiral - 160k
Ridgeback - 160k

Snapper - 165k

Imperial - 600k


So another question then. Is it worth it to buy a cheaper rare and sell the babies to make the money you lost from the buy the rare, to in the end goal be able to afford an imperial OR should I just keep saving my treasure bits by bits to by the imperial?

depends on how fast you want the imp

If you want it sooner, save up, if it doesn't matter, cheep rare and breed

Another random question. How do you determine the color of the eyes for your baby? Will they come from either the mother or father or in between colors?

the color is from the nest they are born in, they are infused with the element of the lair, so a Fire and water will have wind babies in my lair

Depends on the clan you are in. i.e. Ice - white. Lightning - light blue.
