Hell mark: Various markings relating to water.
Temperament: Skittish and mistrustful of strange humans, Jigoku is a very proud Narakari. She likes having the freedom to run whenever and wherever she wants, and as such is reluctant to accept a human as her rider. As her hell marks suggest, she loves water. So much so that it's hard to keep her away from rivers and such on hot days. Jigoku is immensely protective of her herd, and can be very menacing if she thinks you are threatening them. Best to keep your distance from this spontaneous mare!

Hell mark: Solid black back legs.
Temperament: Jikan is, as his name suggests, an exceptionally patient Narakari. Strong but docile, he would make the perfect first time horse for anyone - apart from the whole 'one rider' Narakari trait. Nothing much phases him; he's nearly completely bombproof, and his favourite thing to do is lie on the grass - much unlike his fellow herd members! He would wait an eternity for his rider, and is a devoted herd member.

Temperament: If Jigoku is proud, Konton is arrogance personified. She is a very showy Narakari, and is also rather stubborn. This fiery tempered girl can be rather naïve, and as such depends heavily on the herd for survival. She loves competing, and especially winning. I can't decide whether the winning or the beating others makes her happier. She prefers forests to open fields, and can often be found a little way from the herd, exploring a grove of trees.

Meaning of Name: Hurricane
Gender: Stallion
Age: 6 years
Colouring: Grey
Horns: Aquamarine
Eyes: Aquamarine
Hell mark: The pictogram for air on his shoulder.
Temperament: This spirited, high-octane stallion lives to run. His movements are as swift, and often as unexpected, as the wind. He's rather vain; his pale coat is always kept spotless, and an unchallenged leader. Riding him is like flying - it's as if the Universe mixed up and made a Pegasus a Narakari instead! Still, he is far too clever for any inexperienced rider, and has plenty of so called 'stormy' moments when he becomes aggressive and impatient for seemingly no reason. 'Hurricane' is a fitting name indeed.

Meaning of Name: 'Lady.' Alias of Freyja, highest goddess of the Vanir.
Gender: Mare
Age: 5 years
Colouring: Amber Champagne
Horns: Amethyst
Eyes: Amethyst
Hell mark: A 'feather' cloak along her spine.
Temperament: An exceptionally smart Narakari, Vanadís finds most new skills easy to learn, and masters them in short lengths of time. She is sensible, and not easily spooked. However, she is also very vain, and prone to prancing if not allowed to have her head. She likes to race other Narakari, but isn't so keen on large herds, which is why she maintains her herd of three. Vanadís doesn't mind humans; she's showy and likes to be brushed. Something I've recently noticed is that she is very protective of Sàga, treating her almost like a foal, and loves cats.

Meaning of Name: "The seeing one." Prophetess goddess of the Ásynjur
Gender: Mare
Age: 2 years
Colouring: Albino
Horns: Mountain crystal
Eyes: Garnet
Hell mark: Three dots beneath her right eye.
Temperament: From first glance, Sàga appears as the stereotypical white unicorn of fairytales. Her crimson red, sightless eyes defy this fantasy, however. She's the sweetest Narakari I've ever met, and always tries her very hardest to please. She seems fascinated by all animals, yet holds an inherent mistrust of other equines and humans. Perhaps she resents her defect and those who are considered normal? She doesn't seem to show any other signs of this, so maybe not. Sàga's a bit of an enigma, and I hope to get to know her better. She just needs an experienced rider to guide her round, and then she'd be just as capable as a fully sighted mare.
Death's capture notes wrote:A miserable looking Narakari mare was trotting in the burning sun. She looked exhausted and very weak. She didn't even try to flee as we came closer. I felt really bad for her and tried to take her with me. She followed, obviously too exhausted and weak to do anything else. Back at the meadows I washed her with cool water and gave her warm water to drink and some hay to eat. Of course I let her stand in some shade, since she could have suffered from heat. I regularly watched her and began to notice she ran against everything, though she was very careful. I came to realise she must be blind or at least she couldn't see very good. After a closer look, I realized why. She is a albino. A wonder how she survived hell. As I watched in her mouth I realized she is about two years old and her horns are out of mountain crystal, her eyes are probably out of garnets.

Meaning of Name: "Memory." One of Odin's two raven companions.
Gender: Stallion
Age: 10 years
Colouring: Blue roan pintaloosa
Horns: Clear quartz
Eyes: Clear quartz
Hell mark: Tails and blanket spots
Temperament: Wise and level-headed, Muninn is the calmest of this trio, and also the fastest. He is a exceptional long distance sprint racer, having good stamina as well as his speed. He fits his name well; I could easily see him running around the world each day to gather information. His intelligence means all but the most experienced rider will feel patronised by this stallion.
Gallop? Why of course. He seems to snort.
Can you, human? Muninn likes high places, where he can feel the wind against his coat. This raven seems to want to fly, but has to settle for racing instead.
