I don't know if I'm comfortable with you making the floc completely mute, but you can still have it so that she has difficulty communicating telepathically like you wrote in your form C:

Actually, thinking about it, she's the oppsite of mute.
She can hear other people, but often it's too scrambled to understand or with small sentances, she doesn't get the message at all.

He doesn't turn everything into gold, he has a controlled version of it so it only works when he wants it to. But its only very small things for now anyway, like flowers and coins. He can never turn anything living into gold, of course.

I haven't noticed any rules regarding the powers, so I hope that is okay!
