I have a question for you guys.

Do you like fast paced role plays or slow ones?

i don't want this to sound like a cop-out but i really do like medium paced roleplays. i can't keep up if someone replies multiple times a day, nor will i respond if the other person posts months after the roleplay began [i clean out my bookmarks often]. so, not to sound like goldilocks, but a response every two or three days is just right.

Slower. I'm only able to post during certain times of the day, and when rps move too fast, I often get left behind. But they can't get too slow, or else i'll start to get impatient.

Another cop-out here: I like being able to spend an hour or so on it every week or half-week or so. My absolute favorite is chatzy roleplays, where we roleplay about once a week on the weekends or something for several hours. I love love love those. For longer length and more serious roleplays, I prefer slow ones, that give me a chance to take my time and perfect my post. I have a life, and other obligations. I can't keep up with super fast paced ones.

Also! I'm looking for a roleplay in which I can get practice playing a villain. I've got a large number of villainous characters, but I don't actually write them enough. I need more practice writing darker people. Anyone got a 1x1 or something? I'd really go for something in which the hero and the villain have to work together, but they do not get along at all.
INSANELY BUSY!
I am moving! For the next month or so, I am going to be so very busy.
If I'm on here, it's because I'm unwinding with writing or pets or whatever.
Please do not add to my stress, if you can. Your support is appreciated.

for me, it mainly depends on my muse.
generally, when my muse is sort of average, i prefer it if the roleplay is medium-paced.
it gives me a chance to write my replies and then time in the middle to build up a decent response.
but if my muse is really high for that roleplay, i prefer it to be fast-paced.
purely because when i want to write about something, i like to make the best of it.
      it doesn't happen very often.
though when my muse is out and out gone, zip, poof, then the slower the better.
this happens more often than not at the moment.
i'm sort of alternating between medium and slow right now.

It depend. I like it where there's no pressure for anyone to post because I get really busy with school and life and not to mention for the last year I've just been really off lately. Heck, my friends and partners notice too and they're kind enough to be patient with me <3 that'll hopefully change soon thigh and I'll hopefully not slip into these moods where I want to do absolutely nothing

Humm... That depends on exactly what "slow" is. I'm probably pretty slow, especially when I'm doing literate RPs. I mean, I can easily send someone a 3000+ word response if they don't mind waiting a month. Semi-Lit though, I get a response out every couple of days or so when I can. (Unless for some reason I suddenly have an abundance of free time, then it's much faster.)

Really though, slow is fine by me. It doesn't matter how long it takes my partner to reply. I'll always come back to an RP, even if it is like a year later.

like glassea, i prefer when roleplays move at a medium pace. i get very impatient if i'm kept waiting too long, and i don't have the time to reply to everything near-daily.

hi! i'm elfaron, [sindarin for "hunter of the stars"] though you may know me as lily or sydnee. i'll answer to both, and elfaron/faron. i love lord of the rings, harry potter, marvel, lost, the hunger games and music like the arctic monkeys and vampire weekend. nerdy things. xImageImageImage
