I just realized that having Japanese characters is hard
I have to research their dialects

But it's fun though, it adds a little uniqueness to them to give them a different dialect from the standard Japanese, unlike all other 'Japanese' characters :'D
Though I can't decide whether to have Leslie use Kansai or Tōhoku e_e

Anyone else have these issues when making foreign characters?

Ugh, I do. Things get so difficult it makes me want to make all my characters just be vague, generic things that don't live anywhere more specific than 'a city somewhere'. It's incredibly frustrating.
