Lawl xD I´m not a Expert either, I´m just 4 months longer on FR than you. Imo I´m still a Newb, too, cause I learn something new everyday in FR :lol:

I think the Current-Exchange-Rate for Gems is 1 Gem = 400 Trreasure, but it usually depends a bit on the user you are trading with, so yeah, can also be that you get a much lower Exchange c:
Also, bonding with Familiars is a good way, that way you earn Chest and the higher Chest usually have Gems in them ^^
