Watching the news about the tornadoes in the Midwest made me think up a new character -- cadaver dog who, due to his close scrape with death, can not only sniff out dead bodies (as he is trained to do so), but he can also sense who around him is about to die.

This annoys me for some reasons: I want to develop this character very badly but have no time to RP, and I don't know how he'll survive in a collaborative roleplay seeing as his 'special ability' has a lot of potential for godmodding -.-;;

I am on such a religion bender.
Anyone be interested in a religious RP? But not based on God and jesus. But sort of on "Cults" or religious groups as they prefer to be called.
You know like Christianity, Pagan, Jewish, Satanist and others.
And they all gaaather, for biiiiig meetings.
Debates you could say!
WITH ROMANCE!
And viooolence.

I'd have to say that it is a very original idea But I can't really join up with any new RPs at the moment :\ Interesting though I've never seen an RP with that kind of plot, but I have to wonder if anyone might get upset because some very religious people can get a little angry to see their religion being questioned, trashed, etc. Even in a theoratical sense.

Just a good ole' roleplay, people should calm down and take things less seriously, disagreeing with a religion isn't such a big thing C: Plus, again, all for funzies.
Though I'm gonna have to put some firm rules in there to keep it from getting too serious with fighting and all. Can't have the whole roleplay being debating between a Christian and an Athiest whether god is real or not X3

But I'm glad you think it's an original idea <3
I was listening to a bit of odd musix when I thought it up. Good old Marilyn Manson makes me have good ideas~!

Yeah, I'm mostly worried about the people who like to flame. I had a roleplaying site that died because of flamers, people saying that it's stupid or just joining up to make a mockery of the plot.
Oh XD he Christian/Athiest debate was always a big one For a short while, I thought that I was Athiest, and people started trying to bully me for it. [Trying] XD They failed at it! Turns out I'm just Agnostic [According to my brother] but that's topic for another thread, huh.
I hope that you can get a lot of level headed RPers for this

I never really got the chance to listen to a lot of things that I want to give a try, like Marilyn Manson, Green Day, Linkin Park. Things like that.

I joined a semi-literate to literate roleplay, and I consistently post literate posts except when I'm on writers block, which is when I post semi-lit and these people are posting EXTREMELY illiterately. Ugh xP

Okay. Back on this old topic, new rants about this started rising in me x3

There was this AMAZING R.P. I joined, once again. Great plot, semi-lit, nice people. . . why not? {I never join an R.P. with people who are too uptight about being a perfect R.P.-er. It ruins my muse xP} So I joined, was accepted, and it was semi-lit for awhile. I was posting very, very literately. Then a single one liner joined, and then more and more who thought that since the first person thought it was okay that it definitely was. Well, I tried posting one liners so that my posts wouldn't get ignored. It was really hard to, though, because I really loved my character and couldn't do what they were doing:

Bill tripped on a rock.

I just couldn't do that to my character. And now I've ranted. xD

That is terrible! D: That's why I'm beeing a little strict in one of the RPs I made If I get someone posting one liners, I will warn them twice, then kick them out if they can't meet the minimal standard. Five lines. I don't want my RP turning into the ill-lit fest... [←Lame, again... XD]

I just can't post one liners. I joined an RP that started out fine, but two posts in, one liners.... I couldn't keep up, or get any muse. It was terrible! I use to RP a little like that on my website [That died because of flamers and inactiveness] but that got old.
