Octavian's actually a very interesting character, for he's very ambitious, passionate, and a little crazy (just to start). From SoN on, he's seen by Reyna, Percy, Frank, and Hazel as kind of annoying and fairly harmless. But as time goes on, everyone starts to realize that he's also smart and very persuasive, and that helps him take control of New Rome, especially when Reyna agrees with him on attacking Camp Halfblood, and when she leaves, he has the ability to take control of everyone because they've lost both their praetors and everyone is looking for guidance from another leader. Octavian has leadership abilities and his own agenda, which is rarely a good thing, but it makes him a very intriguing and a very real character because there are people just like him out in the real world.

Jason's also a good character because:
-he's leaderly
-he is very accepting (as we see with the Fifth Cohort and Nico before and after Nico admits his feelings for Percy)
-he values fairness and justice; also has a tremendous sense of duty
-he cares a lot for his friends; he and Percy share that same sense of loyalty
-(once again) he's got that self-doubt and he often criticizes himself
(I would've gone all paragraph form for Jason too but my fingers are getting tired of typing)

I like characters and I respect characters (two catogories here), and Octavian and Jason are the types of characters I respect. Although I wouldn't necessarily be friends with them, I definitely want them on my side of a fight/argument.

Speaking of liking/disliking characters.. I'm scared that Greek Gods is sort of making me like Aphrodite.. how.. whyy???
The Poseidon part sort of bothered me.. but it is Percy.. ah well...

I don't hate Aphrodite so much anymore.. (oh no, it's the Sousuke effect..) and that part with Spring, Summer and Autumn...XD
They're not jealous, no.. Autumn definitely likes the goddess of love and beauty...

Anyway, I was walking into my sister's room, and all of a sudden, her Kindle Fire loaded a picture of Percy, AS SOON AS I ENTERED THE ROOM.
She called me a Percy magnet.
