so i just returned from a two week trip to the country where my family/heritage/culture/ethnicity is from.
i loved it there and i realized how much i want to move there, and how much i dislike the country in which i reside in due to its lack of certain qualities. not that its a bad country i live in- it's great in a lot of ways, but for some reason i just feel more at home in the other country.

i'm dying for a roleplay that has a plot focused around culture(s), whether it be mine or yours or a culture you want to explore. i was thinking some sort of plot that allows international people (students?) study all together or something of the sort.

anyone up for it/have a better idea?
woah guys, i'm back, after a very long time.
missed this place <3

I've got a real divergent craving, or a post apoc roleplay involving a gang like group and a socialist sort of group, the peaceful socialist group safely in a town and doing just fine, and the gang trying to take over, with one character in each group and the one trying to get the other to their peaceful group, since he's only kept alive in the gang group since he's useful to them.

Also I have a lion king-esque with gangs and stuff. It would have to be done on AS since it also involved strippers

oh or also the scorpio races

I really love this idea ^.^ (Mainly because I hate the country I'm from, but I, too, see the good parts of it - it just isn't the right place for me) But yeah, I'd love for this to become reality. Let me know if you make it? Please? c:

Ok, so for some reason I've been overflowing with plot bunnies this week, which means you'd better brace yourself for a couple more suggestions.

I recently read Panic by Lauren Oliver. In Panic [which is also the name of the game], graduating seniors risk their lives to win the jackpot, a total sum that is made up of the dollar per day that everyone in the highschool has to pay for every day that school is in session. This amounts to at least 50 grand. The challenges change every year; in the book, they involved jumping from cliffs, theft, Russian roulette, crossing a highway blindfolded, and getting locked in a pen with a couple of tigers. Naturally, I'd come up with my own trials [though if anyone has any ideas, I'd welcome any help *hinthint*] and it wouldn't be exactly like Panic [for example, in Panic the judges are a secret but in this RP they wouldn't]. To give the contestants diversity, I'd also come up with a different reason for why they're playing [e.g. to pay for college, for the thrill of it, to pay the bills, to give the money to someone else] and possible pairings if I think it'll work better that way.
This might take place on AS since some of the challenges won't be child-friendly. If I feel that none of them violate the CS rules, however, I'll make it here.

This other idea of mine started out as a 1x1 idea. I wanted to play out a romance between two completely unlikable, selfish characters, but while I was eating lunch today I was struck by an even better thought: why let others miss out on the fun? Each pairing would be based on a deadly sin [with the exception of gluttony, since I have no idea how to make that work]. It would take place in high school and this is how it would play out:
pride— two overachievers combating to be the best in everything while also combating their growing feelings for one another
lust— a pair who are in a relationship but both have wandering eyes
wrath— a love-hate relationship
greed— here it would be more selfishness than greed, as both parties are wrapped up in their own interests yet expect the other to be supportive; perhaps they were childhood friends, to throw in a twist?
sloth— everyone thought they were the perfect couple, but they've gotten bored with each other
envy— the most self-explanatory; both think that the other is cheating on them and attempt to stir up jealousy by actually cheating

And, as an unexpected bonus that I just came up with, a completely shameless and fun romp through two neighboring rival private schools, one all-boys and the other all-girls. I actually made something like this about a year ago, but it kind of died before it started, which was pretty sad. It'd be filled with mischief-making and climbing onto roofs and sneaking through windows to sabotage the other school in some way [e.g. stealing the speech team's trophy, stealing the soccer team's equipment, graffitiing the walls, etc.]. And, since it's me, there'd be a crapload of secret romances [surprise, surprise] which would also involve sneaking through windows. Because honestly, what do you expect when you put two gender-exclusive schools right next to each other?

I might not have time to make them until vacation starts, which is in about 1.5 weeks for me, so this is more to see what interest I can get [I'll make the most popular idea] than to fill up spots.

All I want to do is role play superheroes. What am I doing with my life? -flail-
I'm seriously joining every superhero thingy I can. Except for Marvel RPs, because Marvel is overrated. >.<

Ugh, I can't find any good roleplay that interest me, and when I do, they're either too far in or not accepting anyone iui The struggles.
