This is random, but.. is anyone else here an obsessive compulsive grammar freak? I was looking over Strawberry's shoulder, and I was correcting every sentence until she decided to slap me in the forehead. quite hard, actually. :D I am such a nerd.

:D lol! I have this urge to correct every grammar mistake I see... and I pay for it. *rubs sore forehead*

Hey, have any of you read Holes by Louis Sachar??? I love that book.. I've read it four times. It's about this boy named Stanley Yelnats who gets accused of stealing a famous pair of shoes (which he didn't) and gets the choice of going to jail or Camp Greenlake, a camp for juvenile delinquent boys whose motto is make a bad boy dig holes all day in the hot sun, and he turns into a good boy. Stanley choses Camp Greenlake, which, incidently, is not green and has no lake. He has never been to camp before.

:D It is an AMAZING book.. the plot is so amazingly original, and... awesome... :P

I'm a HUGE grammar/spelling/punctuation freak! I literally SCREAM at people when they use chat speak. (Well . . . in my mind, but it still counts! :what: :clap: :twisted: :lol: :oops: :shock: Hehehe . . .)

But there's no use crying over every mistake
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake
And the science gets done and you make a neat gun
For the people who are still alive

Now these points of data make a beautiful line.
And we're out of beta.
We're releasing on time.
So I'm glad. I got burned.
Think of all the things we learned
for the people who are still alive.

^ I think I have read the Giver, a long time ago. I didn't know there was a sequel though. :0
Has anyone here read The Golden Compass series? That seriously has to be my favorite book series. Ever. I was at the book store the other day and saw a book that was just all of the books in the series put together into one massive book and I just kind of cradled it in my arms for a few minutes. It was beautiful. ;___;
