What would be your dream Summer Event theme??

I’m hearing a lot about Cryptids, camping, forests etc. My pfp probably gives it away, but I think it’d be cool to have an amalgamation of all of these plus throw in a little “murder” mystery haha (Like just, out of the blue in the middle of the event, a surprise!)

Hehe.. in all seriousness an urban setting would be really neat. Events usually go to all these “exotic” places but this could be like, taking a trip to a friend’s town/city and some mysterious things are happening. (Insert the camping, cryptids/paranormal, etc.) You can get all Stranger Things with it if you wanted- maybe there’s another dimension around causing anomalies, or some time travel shenanigans. Maybe there’s even a lab doing some sketchy stuff! Whatever it may end up looking like, I’m all for this type of setting!

Edit: Aaahh I don’t envy the people who have to choose! There’s so many good ideas in this thread I’m not even sure what I want lol I wish I could “like” forum replies <3

I think an idea around an “Antarctica” trip could be super cool.

Some of us think summer is too hot 😅 pets based on ice and snow, penguins, seals, wolves, elk, just a few ideas. Like a remote Alaskan style community or something and the boca need your help to gather supplies for the town, could have items like ice fishing gear, tobogganing stuff, etc.

My second idea is like an African Safari, though a lot of those ideas were touched on in other events like jungle and stuff.

Edit: also seeing a lot of people say old western, I think that’s a good one too!

I'd love to see one based on theater or opera, I'd also like one based on maybe a haunted mansion (that's maybe not actually haunted at all), one based on an art festival or something to do with arts and crafts of different kinds and maybe one based on farming or agriculture.

Most of all I'd love to see a Mount Everest expedition event, or something otherwise themed around the Himalayas. Another cool idea would be an art museum- would love more pets based on famous paintings, like that Mona Lisa dog from Christmas 2012.

I REALLY advise against a cryptid event unless its well-researched- there will be a lot of indigenous cultural appropriation to avoid. Also really just not a fan of spooky/paranormal themes when we get Halloween pets every year.

Ohhhhhh I adore the creepy camping cryptid ideas!!! Something western themed would be super cool too!!! I would also be super down for some more space theme stuff. Space Cowboys maybe?! Perhaps something that starts out black and white then we slowly have color return to CS? Or was that just touched on last year? So many possibilities! Either way the vibes with the Fairietale were perfect, and I'd love to see that feeling recreated with the next theme. Thank you for taking our input <3
