They aren't bad. Usually it's just mer Lance though. Keith is usually a human or a bird guy or something. I think I did see one peice on Elentori(aka Klance queen)'s tumblr featuring mer Keith.

Never really read one, and tbh, I'm not sure it'd be my cup of tea. Or rather coffee; because preferences. xD
Fluffier AUS in general aren't much my thing; they have to be written /really/ well, and I've got some high standards on that.

Like the fact that I automatically avoid anything written in script format.
Or that if I find more than 5 miss spelled words or grammar errors in the first paragraph, I'm gone.
Or if the authors username includes references to more than 3 series; writing for multiple fandoms can cause inaccurate characterization.

idk, I'm just super picky about which fics I choose to read VS which ones are better left for the pre-teen side of the fanbase.

I only have one for Voltron in the works right now, Altean Keith and Galra Lance AU. I've got two for Yuri on Ice, not counting the ones in my Shameful Fanfiction Notebook™. One for Tokyo Ghoul, one for X-men, probably another that should be deleted.

Anyway, I always thought I was fairly good at keeping it all in check. I don't even listen to the same music when I write different things. (Kei metal is for Tokyo Ghoul only)

When i make up these standards for what to read, i base them on personal errors i used to make when i was new to the fic writing scene. Things that i go back and read that make me want to punch my 13 year old self in the face. Ya'know? xD

Also, this phone cant read some of the font in the thread title, so it just says "OTO EGE YEEE". Pffff xD
