This goes out as a question to everyone:
What would you like to see in relation to Cake Kitties?
I'm currently sketching out some ideas and such that I have during classes, and came up with a few concepts and other things for the future. I'm going to list off a few, please tell me what you think of them, and also write in your own ideas.
(2 votes) 1.) A chaptered Cake Kitty story. Notes and paragraphs can be sent to me by owners of CK's, and using my semidecent ability in English, I will transcribe and merge them all together to make a story! Of course, each chapter would have a theme and a deadline, and your writing would need to be sent in to me. Since this may be a big project, I'd have major guidelines to use, just to make sure no one's notes conflicted. However, it would be a large group participation type thing and I believe that with enough work, could be successful.
(1 vote) 2.) New Cake Kitty lines? Before I start, I just want to say that the default adult kitty lines would still be in place. The new lines may be used for special events/vr kitties/etc. However, this would be something that would require the original artist to draw some more lines, so I don't know how practical this idea might be, as my own artistic abilities aren't up to par to make lineart.
3.) Cake Kitty DeviantART account or group (leaning towards group). Could be used to manage certain events/post new kitties/etc. Not quite sure of the practicality, since some people do not use DA. However, perhaps we could do, once in a while, DA exclusive raffles and litters? This idea I'm a bit unsure about.
(1 vote) 4.) Accessory shop. Sells certain items that can be bought with cherries, and then artists can edit them on to pre-existing kitties. The artist who made the kitty in question would have to be the one to add the accessories. They wouldn't be anything too phenomenal (to save the artists' time) but would be an interesting aspect used to personalize your favorite kitties.
(1 vote) 5.) Kitty Masterlist. Would require lots of time, but essentially going back through the topic and posting every single litter/raffle/event/monthly/custom kitty in one place, organized quite well. While space could be an issue, these images could be resized to small in order to save space.
(2 votes) 6.) CK Pound. This has been mentioned before, and I feel like it could work quite nicely. Basically, users can choose to let go of kitties that they no longer want. These kitties will go to the Pound, and owners with 0-3 kitties would be able to adopt one.
Please post which one(s) of these you like or think may be successful. I'd also appreciate your own ideas and opinions about my ideas, and even your own.
