Yeah we held it on school grounds I think the price was .25 but since it was all for a good cause we raised it to .50 I hope this helps and good luck But ours was to help the oil spill. I really would want to do another one for the whales and dolphins getting killed by the Japanese........

I was thinking of maybe doing something in front of a Safeway, because a lot of workers there do BQQ's and sell hot dogs and the money goes to breast cancer. So if I could get their permission and do something like that but for whales and dolphins........

Wow that's cool but my school probably wouldn't let us do that since they even threatened to call the cops since on the last day of school people were still on school grounds for like 10 mins after school ended still saying bye to each other and stuff. It was pretty harsh.

Also didn't you say you made bookmarks and bags and stuff to sell to make money to donate? If you don't mind me asking, how did you make them because i'd like to do a lot of stuff similar. Taiwan gives lot of ideas on what to sell

My school is SUPER strict I'll doubt they will allow us to sell stuff. Oh, I am doing extra chores to raise money for the whales and dolphins. Oh, does anyone know a good place to donate money for the dolphins and whales? I don't know where to send it and I want to make sure my money goes to the whales and not to someones new TV.

Astaria, I know a good place to donate, maybe Greenpeace http://www.greenpeace.org/usa/. But I dont know how much goes to the whales......I will find some other places http://www.savejapandolphins.org/ I think one of the petitions from the front page is by these guys, I think they are pretty trustworthy.

i remeber my elementry school library gave out free bookmarks you could try saveing them (if your school does the same) and sell those (dont sell them at your school cause they would probably already have thos bookmarks) sell them somewere else.

my middle school doesnt do that though.

Oh well for the bookmarks, we cut out some felt then embrodered the word 'READ' onto it (well if you wanted a spesifec word, it would cost more money), This is optional but then we threaded beads onto them.

For the bags we pretty much just sewed them But now since my mom and I just finished making whale plushies, we are thinking maybe we could sell them. But I dont know........

Cool and wow that is way awesome! Whale plushies! We got my mom a sowing machine for Christmas I think it was but my sister broke the needle on it so now we have to get it fixed before we can sow anything but I was thinking about knitting bags, blankets, and little keychain stuff but first I have to learn how since I can only knit scarves I'm also thinking of making jewelry with all the beading stuff that my sister never uses and I also like to paint rocks so I'm thinking I might sell some of those. And i saw people in Taiwan painting hats to sell so that seems cool too and now I'm going on and on so I'll stop there and I just thought up an awesome idea! Would you like to here it?
