Hiya!

I've recently become completely OBSESSED with BJDs and would love to join this group discussion. I'm currently saving up to buy my first ever BJD, and would love some advice XD
My dad is paying the majority for me since I don't have a job and its a little something for my Art, and would love some links to some cute brands/makers/ect. I'm in love with Fairyland Minifee Models and Luts Kid Delf Models. So anything similar to those that are slightly cheaper would be perfect!

Preferably 40-45cm ^u^

Fairyland prices make me wince. XD;; I do have a Kid Delf though, only he's a pony boy! Love Luts, well worth the extra pennies - and actually they're very reasonably priced as far as minis go. $255 for a basic doll is very, very good. FL are charging just shy of $400 for a basic I think. Doll Love and 5StarDoll come out slightly cheaper I think, but not by much to Luts, so if you really like the Luts minis, I'd say go for one of them. ^^ The quality is fantastic.

Hmmmm what to buy what to buy XD

So many choices and so much money involved... At least since I make my own cosplay I can make custom clothes and wigs for her. I already have everything planned out and just need the perfect little BJD to make my dream a reality. Which leads me onto my second requestion for you guys ;D
- Know anyone that does good Face ups for not insane prices or is it more worth getting a face up from the place I buy her? ^^

I did get the Moonlit Song Bory centaur, yeah! Mine's in tan/light tan with gold hooves/tail and he's beautiful. :') If I had a good photo I'd share, but I think I need to get more. So little time, so little light. Sigh. Yul is so pretty, I probably would've had one if I had the space/money! (Between my BJDs and the G1 My Little Ponies, my room is reaching saturation point, lol.)

I can absolutely put you in touch with someone who does amazing faceups, if you don't mind sending to the UK? You can check out Krowbar on DoA or Flickr. I won't link from CS as obviously there may be NSFW images that show body blushing, etc. A faceup costs about $35 I think? It's £20 and the exchange rate fluctuates. You could go for faceups from the company you buy from but I know there's often a difference between what you see in the promo images and what you get. ^^

I can't actually get onto DoA yet because i haven't got an invitation Email and the members board nor someone i know has sent me one ^^;

I am so doomed by Zuzu Delf, I have Lio and Wolffy, and my sister has Toya. They're the cutest things ever, probably the only Yo-SD sized dolls I'll get! Most of my boys are super-tall Dollshe guys, my Jina is the shrimp in comparison. But I love him all the same!

I've made my own fur wigs before but I need better fake fur. I can make dreadlock wigs too, just figuring out the right colours for my Dollshe Bernard. I'm not so good with clothing but I have had a go. Made trousers before, and some arm warmers? XD;; My sister has the sewing talent, not me! She made my Zuzu Lio a little Gryffindor-coloured coat. It was a prototype and I have to take his paws off, but it's super cute. <3

I'm waiting for a doll too. I didn't intend it but he's on a special viewing event at Dollshe and he's 30% off, so I sort of had to after falling in love with his face. Aramis!
