i think this season we will see catra trying to rebel against hordak more than an actual redemption- if there was one it would start at the very end of the season and continue into season 4
i hope we get catradora this season though im starved

Welcome! Honestly I'm a little surprised Hordak is gonna (supposedly) let her stick around. I thought at the end of Season two she'd be shipped off to Beast Island or somethin' for her lying. I'd be content this season if she just cuts ties with Hordak. My gal deserves better and she knows it.

i hope so! in the clip we see of her in the crimson wastes she isnt wearing the force captain pin so either she's been demoted or it doesnt matter to her anymore.
the crimson wastes are also the only place that doesnt seem to be aligned with bright moon or the hoard, so if catra was going to start a third party anywhere, it would be there

I wouldn't be surprised if she got demoted. It doesn't make sense for Hordak to let her off without consequences. and while They are there for first ones tech on Hordak's orders I wouldn't be too shocked if what you stated occurs in the 3rd season. A place with no connections to her past seems like a good place to start anew.

I wonder what a Catra rebellion would mean for Scorpia. My guess is she wouldn't (edit for I am a fool and this makes a crucial difference to my point) follow Catra since she is obsessed with her but?? I don't know?? Catra doesn't seem like she would want Scorpia to come with her based on how she treats her?? Interested in how the Catra and Scorpia relationship will play out in Season 3 as well.

scorpia has never shown any interest in leaving the horde, so i think scorpia will be the biggest factor that could change catra's mind about leaving the horde. but since she is obsessed with catra im not sure? she might want to betray the horde for catra, but her family is kept under the horde's control so scorpia's betrayal might have consequences that would make her want to stay? im not sure, scorpia's loyalties are pretty up in the air rn
