So, you know how the animation Quality of the Movies and Series is diiferent?
I can't Decide if RTTE Hiccup's Hair is done right or not.

Like....
In some shots, his hair is done really nicely, to the point where you can see individual strands. Like, in these shots you Know his hair is super fluffy.

But then sometimes it almost looks stuck together? The only way I can describe it is like taking several like...nylon strands, and ironing them together.



I mean, I understand that there are different teams within Dreamworks working on the Movies and Series, but I wish there was a bit more consistency, here. Don't even get me started on His Freckles (or lack there of).

I also may or may not have noticed differences in facial proportions.

That's both cool and weird. And did you know he did not have a scar on his cheek until Riders of Berk?

I wouldn't say He didn't have it, just that is wasn't always visible, given the lighting in the vast majority of the Movie.



But you can certainly see it here.

Although I will say I've noticed that they sometimes skip out on the scar when it isn't relevant.



But again, this could be a combination of lighting and difference of animation teams (in the case of this second shot being from the series).

Really? I'm going to have to re-watch them both then, I can't remember the scar in the movie

Hah, I suppose as an Artist I have an eye for small details like that. ^^;
But I mean hey, even in the second movie, it can be hard to see the scar.

The other thing to think about, though, is the quality differences in the versions of the movies/Series that people have to watch from. Because watching the Second Movie from a DVD is a lot different than watch a video of the movie taken, say, from a phone.

You can see his scar on the image to the left, right?
The Quality of the image on the right is such that the red tones in the scene have washed out the spot where his scar would be.
If you look closely, yes you can see it, but it's a lot more difficult. A lot of people watching would only pay attention to it if it's either A- Relevant, or B- Readily Visible.

I'm getting tired of re-watching, although I do still enjoy it.

I don't know, and I'm kind of glad though, I mean, it will give me more time to watch the latest episodes. I mean, I just watched Team Astrid today, and it was AMAZING! I should be able to watch one a day, if I don't get super-crazy sick or something, and maybe more on Fridays, but still...not a great rate

Eh, I guess I'm just a bit Antsy because I watched all 13 episode of the second half of RTTE in 2 days. xD
I have no chill, so when new episodes come out, I'm glued to the screen.
