I'm hoping to get an advertising contest thingy up soon.
Not sure how to run it but I want people to know about Saurons <3
Maybe get some new stamps and have everyone stuff them in their signature or something of the like.

Also staff who hopefully read/bookmarked this thread I need ideas for our Halloween event that probably needs to start up soon ^^ <3

Does anybody else know of any contests we can put up for Saurons to get them more popular? ^ ^;
I'm also thinking the limit of Saurons owned should be increased now since designs are popping up ^ ^

I disagree to allowing people to own more saurons.
7 Is a lot as it is as far as adoptables go.
Kia's you can own 4 [if I'm not mistaken] and Mako's you can own 4.
JBD's not sure of personally but I think it's 2? [Or I'm delusional].

If we let the same people adopt more than they already have the same couple people will own all the Saurons.
But I guess we'll see what everyone has to think [if anyone looks at this thread lD]

I think 7 is a fair number, myself. There are several other adoptables that you may only own 2-5, so 7 is a good bit by those standards.

Perhaps the alternative would be to allow people a one-time chance to adopt one of their older, unloved Sauron for the chance at a new one. This way people would be able to add a new Sauron, but only one time, so the number of older Sauron up for re-adoption wouldn't skyrocket.

As for bringing in more popularity, maybe do a guest artist spot contest? Let people design their own and the winner gets to host a limited run of their own designs--say 2 or 3--for adoption.

A custom spot raffle may also work--people like to have their own designs realized, so perhaps this would draw in more people as well.

There might also be a missed crowd in the RP aspect--maybe if there was a plot for the species and an open RP rather than just 1 x 1 it would help generate more interest and a greater drive to try and adopt more to have more playable characters.

I've been thinking maybe we can do something like, a 12 days until Christmas advent (when Christmas comes around of course) xD
Like there could be a custom raffle on the 1st day and the last day
and we could have different Guest Artists come up with some designs during it : o (for maybe the other 10 days, like 1 guest artist per day)
Just an idea ^ ^; *shrug*

Anyway, I do like Kallile's ideas.
1) about the role-play (Maybe we can create a link for a role-play that we can put next to the Fan-club or something like that)
{I know there is a lot of updating that Cole has to do, but I'll talk to him about it, he's been pretty busy lately}
2) about custom spot raffle(s),{Also leading up to my Christmas idea *points above*}I think it's a good idea to get recognized out there, it might bring in more design ideas for the current artists such as myself anyway and we won't have to reply on just one or two people creating Saurons.
I'm not sure if we would need to create new lines for the competition like I've seen other adoptables do or just let them do their designs on the lines we already have

I've talked to some people and we are now part of a large Multiple Species roleplay!
It has yet to be set up but it should be good. Many of the other adoptable species are taking part in this undertaking.

Very excited. Hope you all are too!
Maybe I can find one of our staff who could run a Sauron only roleplay as well just for Saurons.
