My lessons are going well, thank you. I actually takes lessons with my fiance so that makes it a lot easier for me to gain confidence when I have another beginner beside me. I found Western easier than Dressage so far, but that's just me. I do get discouraged sometimes though. I've got a back issue that makes it difficult for me to sit properly and it drives me insane as my balance is off while I have this issue. I recently got offered a full time job so I'm hoping I can pay for chiropractic care to fix the issue. >.<
Do you ever have any issues decided which horse to ride? Or do you have a schedule set up? I've found so far in my life I only am really able to connect with one horse at a time. In my lessons I always ride the same horse, a blind Lone Arrow Stud thoroughbred gelding named Ben.
Feel free to take a
gander at some of my
lessons if you like. The bearded guy sitting on the brown horse funnily is my fiance, lol. He mainly just rides for fun and has trouble sitting in the saddle as I'm not sure the stirrups go long enough for his legs. I also think you'll see what I mean about my posture. My vertebrae sit on the discs in my spine like this '>' while normal vertebrae should sit like this '='. This makes it very difficult for me to pull my shoulders back and sit, so with that problem my balance gets all screwed up and when that happens my leg slides forward and it just ends up a disaster. DX

Oh, that must be nice, to have lessons with your fiance c:
And I'm sorry about your back D: I hope you're able to pay for chiropractic care, and I hope you get to fix your back (:
I've had issues, most definitely. So far at where I ride, it seems that I'm suited to only Mystic, but since he's leased out, I'm just looking for other horses that I can ride and that are suited.
Ben is blind? My stables has a horse named JD that is blind in one eye; is Ben fully blind?
Haha, I like the arena where you ride c: It's very open and sunny, very much like my old stables. Anyways, I think your leg position is great; you should just point your toes in a little bit and you'd look like a pro c: Once you get a chiropractor, I bet your position would be absolutely gorgeous c:

нι! ι'м new нere (:
username:
My username is 【Ꭿˢˢᵃˢˢᶥᶯᵃᶵᶥᵒᶯ 】.
riding experience (in years):
I've been riding for approximately two years now. My family did have financial problems, so I had to take some rather long breaks from riding. I'd say about 1½ years, to be more precise.
discipline specialty:
My disciplines are dressage and show jumping - my main focus is show jumping, but I love dressage all the same.
favorite breed:
We're picking favorites now, are we? Well, I suppose I do favor Swedish Warmbloods more than any other breed.
favorite coat color:
I love pure white horses. I know the coat color is quite rare, but don't we all favor the rarer of things?

KK (:
I've competed everywhere from 30cm - 85cm, now competitively jumping at 80/85cm. I was going to go ahead to 90cm but the circumstances weren't right. I've been in one jump off, where I've placed 4th place! Could've been higher if the horse I was riding didn't knock a pole, haha, he was basically galloping so the time was really short! Ah well, I was really happy with 4th!
In lessons, I typically jump 80-100cm, and the highest I've jumped is 115cm.
Don't really know what to say, unless given a specific topic :\ Fate, got any ideas? Haha.
{ 30cm - 1"
80cm - 2'7"
90 cm -3"
100 cm - 3'3"
115 cm - 3'9" }

Ben is supposed to be blind in only one eye, but everyone is starting to think his other eye is nearly there if not already blind as well.
I've only jumped once, and it was maybe twelve inches. Ben was supposed to trot over it and jumped it instead. XD That's my only jumping experience.
In other news I had a lesson again today and felt so great about it, I woke up feeling like, "Blegh, I don't even know if I can be bothered with horses today." but Ben did great and I felt I did great. It was awesome, I felt like I was keeping my shoulders back and was keeping balance, my back is killing me right now but it was so worth it to feel like I was doing so well. I wish I had pictures and videos of today.
