So, guys... I have a huge announcement.
I am welcoming my 6th plumerian, and my 5th slotted plume; Elijah.

Meet Elijah!
Ellie or Eli, more commonly, is a no-nonsense kind of guy with a chivalrous mischeif about him. He has a keen eye in more ways that just one. He's resourceful, cunning and a sort of 'rogue'-type rascal, of sorts. He used to work in design, though now he more or less takes odd jobs when the need arises. He's a wanderer and a traveller, sort of trying to find his place in the world after a series of tough events in his past. Having, for the most part, been independent since a young age; Elijah is responsible and generally a very open-minded thinker who likes to decide for himself what is wrong and right, which does lead him to some... morally questionable acts, at times. He tends to say a lot of things one might not expect and his out of the box thinking sometimes gets him in trouble because of this. He's quite large and, daer I say, a bit intimidating. He's strong-willed, determined and headstrong in every sense-- though not necessarily confrontational. Elijah is fascinated with fire, experiened in all sorts of miscellaneous fields and full of surprises. Chalk it up to his mysterious nature, but this gentlemenly scoundrel is almost always accidentally leaving others either in the dark or in the dust.

I am looking for art and roleplays for him, though no romantic
relationships just yet as I'd like to develop him first. cx

I haven't been active in the community for quite a while now, and honestly I don't plan on being active, really. Trying to re-introduce myself would be really unhelpful, and if anything, I'd rather not be here anymore? It's not like I contributed anything anyways and honestly it's more of an emotional toll now. I haven't done or tried to do anything with my plumerians in months, and even if I do, it usually dies out. I'm sorry if this is sounding complain-y so far, but there's no way I can sugar coat this without expressing my regrets to even having my plumies.
I'm heavily contemplating just letting them all go up for readoption, but I've barely even had Nates and I still have my connections with Gerard and Escher. They're not being treated properly with me. I still want to keep Escher in feeble hopes of developing her more, maybe finding her a qpp or something. She deserves more; really, they all do, but I'm selfish and I want to try to do more things with her.

If you'd be interested in any kind of readoption for Gerard, Escher, or Nates, please do a vote thing here.
I'd really appreciate if I could get a lot of feedback for this, but thank you for considering anyways.

Anyways, not much to say other than the fact that art-block is eating me ;n; but I did manage to complete my art for this lovely guy, and surprisingly, it's a piece I'm even halfway proud of... My first time attempting a background like that xD

Okay, so I haven't gotten to share this yet but I'm working on Ritika's backstory and I only just remembered that I've never told the tale of her and roses.

Here it is, in the format of her writing it down:

I don't like to talk about them.

Nobody else knows, nobody that matters at any rate.
I wanted to tell Corbin once. I tried to tell Mai. I couldn't do it though.

I made them out of anger.
Out of hatred
Out of pain

I had just lost her, she had hated me for not changing.
I hated her for trying to change me.
I hated myself for not being able to change.
I hated myself for not wanting to change.
I hated myself for not loving her enough to change.

I wanted to prove to myself that I hadn't changed. That I didn't need to. That I was safer this way.

So I made them.

Three of them.

Red. Purple. White.

Roses. That's what I called them.

The red one was the first one I made. The red rose. I still use it sometimes. I don't regret that one. It's not dangerous. It targets and takes out a single computer. Any computer that gets the red rose virus will be a box in a minute's time. Any one.

Just one. Just one is fine.

But that night I wasn't satisfied with just one.


So I made the purple rose.
I've only used it once.

It takes out everything in a system. Everything. Nothing is spared.

I'm sure people would tell it's just computers. How could it be that bad? But it's not just computers. An entire government disappeared. Every person was gone just like that. Every record and every bit of data just gone.

It doesn't seem horrifying until you've seen just what that can do.
I still keep it though. Just in case. Besides, I can control it.

I wish I had never made it.
I wish I could bring myself to destroy it.
But I'm not that strong.

....

It's my failsafe.
It wipes everything.
And I mean everything.

Offline or online, it uses satellite beaming to reach everything and destroy it all.

Anything virtual dies. All hospital programming would be gone. Every game, every control system, everything.

Just boxes left.

I'm proud of it. It's my finest programming. Technically speaking it's amazing.
But I still hate it.



I only have one copy. Nobody knows that it exists. Not Corbin, not Fabel, not Mai, not her.
Never her.
It's got another name. It's file name.

It's her name.

...

There's just one copy of it. Not stored anywhere that anyone else could reach. It's underground, far underground. All contained on one drive. A big drive for sure. I know where it is.


I wish that I didn't.




That's why there are no rose's planted in my garden. Corbin has asked me about them a few times. I told him I fell into a bunch of them when I was little and now I hate them. He knows that it's not true. I don't hate things that can hurt me. I love them. But he never pushes me. Never brings me home roses. He's a good friend. I wish that I could be the same to him and not lie, but I can't.

This is what I hate about paper. It makes you spill out all your secrets. Makes you get all poetic and dreamy.

Oh well, I suppose that's what they made fire for.

he's a little hyper, curious and brave!! But he gets stressed out easily and often tries to "blend in" (he doesn't like to be noticed, so speeches and plays and stuff are a big no no for him)

I've got a bit of a personality for him, he loves scarves, and he's a very shy! He has a bit of a passion for robotics as well!
