Pipe Cleaner passed away, unfortunately :C

I can't find the screenshots of when K-9 told me, but I'm 100% positive that the little fuzzy guy did pass away. :c

Oh what a shame I'm sorry to hear that :c. Unfortunately sometimes when they are found on the move, they are suffering from some kind of ailment. And sometimes they just don't make it out of their little cocoon stage. My heart goes out to K-9, for I have been there so many times.

I am hoping this year we have a lot of caterpillars but there was sever lack of rain for us so, little food is growing. I wished they could read I would make signs and put homes out for them xD.

When the weather thaws, I'll be doing a proper burial for the little one. He must've died by a possible illness, I gave him lots of food and water, and he did shed once. :c
I know Pipecleaner is up there, with all your little ones that you lost too <33

Possible. It's so hard to say. I wished there were ways of studying them, you know like an autopsy. I posted that once last year when I had a bunch of them seemingly die one after the other. Someone suggested perhaps some unknown illness spreading between them. Which makes you wonder, do caterpillars get some kind of common cold/flu/virus that some how can kill them?

Awww yes, my thoughts have always been, with those that do not get to make it to the final stage. 'May you be granted the wings you were not given in life.'

I have many pictures of my past fuzzys xD! I was going to up load some tonight but, I'd have to resize them. Since they're otherwise huge xD! And I'm so exhausted tonight and my mother has warned me she plans to wake me up early to help clean the room dad likes to watch his big tv. *Feels blargh right now*

That's a good theory! Tbh, if you do research for answers, you'll be saving many lil fuzzy wiggle worms. <3 I'll support you through the research! <3 I know that your fuzzy lil ones and Pipecleaner are flying up there happily <3

Well semi named them that when I got sight of this occurrence.Both side by side wanting to eat the same piece of lettuce leaf. This was, last year.

Meet the Tussocks Moth caterpillar!
These guys I have come to learn must be housed separate. Even with plenty of food they will eventually try and kill any siblings or the likes off c_c;.
Also, it's said their hairs can be slightly skin irritating, esp for those with allergies. They haven't bothered me.

Nope xD. The Giant Swallowtail caterpillar!
Lovers of citrus trees!
I usually wont take these guys inside, until they look like the top picture.
Basically a lighter color of their larger forms. Otherwise they seem to need/eat the surface of the youngest leaves of the citrus trees. And trying to keep on top of having those all the time and not dried out, gets to be really hard.
