Hello everyone, I'm a horse collector. I mainly collect Schleich as I cannot afford Breyer's. Anyone else here own any Schleich horses? My herd consists of:

Harley- Clydesdale Gelding
Holly- Clydesdale Mare
Ribbons- Clydesdale Foal (filly)
Cookies N' Cream- Black and White Paint Mare
S'mores- Pinto Paint Stallion
Oreo- Paint Foal (colt)
Gingersnap- Appaloosa Mare
Cinnamon- Appaloosa foal (filly)
Jasper- Sorrel Quarter Horse Mare
Willow- Tinker Mare
Lady- Friesian Mare

I totallly agree! I have five Breyers which I have collected over two years as I can't just spend money on collectible horses XD Scleich is also easier to get. I myself have ten

Yeah but my mom says she had Breyers when she was a kid so she might give them to me and eeee they could be rare! I'm excited XD

boop. i know this thread hasn't been active in a while but i just found it and would rather post here than a new thread cx

so i guess i should tell a little about myself & my collection?
i started receiving breyers when i was in pre-k from my family, since i was the weird horse obsessed child and they were the big thing in model horses. ever since then i was hooked ^^ i own over 40 models currently (maybe more, i havent counted in a while) and am still steadily growing my collection to this day. im currently trying to sell all of the things i used to play with for them many years ago, including my barn and some models, but im pretty lazy and cant be bothered to put it up on ebay cx

my showstring consists of roughly 25 models, i'd say? 20-25, as i more recently got into collecting for showing purposes, and also have real horses to pay for, so i only pick up a new model once or twice a year - unless i've saved up and decide to drive down the road on breyerfest weekend and buy an at-gate single ticket, then just go shop around for all the pretty exclusives ^^

i tried customizing years and years ago but was never very good at it (i also didnt have the tools and amazing products i have now) but i may try my hand at it on some of my models that im not too concerned about lol.

well. thats me cx i hope this thread comes back to life, it'd be really nice to conversate with other collectors!

Well this thread is kinda dead but I'm curious anyways. Does anyone conga any molds? I currently have an Ethereal conga of 6, and a Bouncer conga of 12 c:

I conga a few stablemates, but i havent gotten around to working on congas for traditional models (mostly because i havent bought new horses since spring break), but i'm sending off my Ethereal Earth to be commissioned since he's pretty banged up from our last move, so im hoping to start a conga on that mould ^~^
another i'd love to start a conga on is the Othello mould, and I currently have two - one on hand and the other off being commissioned by a friend.

Quick intro, I've been collecting Breyers for around 13 years now, and I have ~90 traditionals and over a hundred stablemates, plus some misc. classics and paddock pals. My favorite mold is Ethereal, and I have a conga of 6 of him currently (sadly missing Fire from the ethereal collection, too expensive now!). What's everyone's favorite mold?

Hey fellow collectors! By the way what does conga mean? I collect both Breyer and Schleich. I lost most of my 100+ Breyers during a family upheaval but have since restarted them and I have over 100 Schleich animals lol

A conga is a collection of different models that are painted on the same mold, as I posted a pic of above ^_^

hmm... my favorite mould would have to be the Othello mould, or the National Show Horse mould. I love draft horses, and the Othello mould is just gorgeous to me cx i'll be home in about a week and then I can take some pictures of my current models.

My largest conga is Smart Chic Olena at 20! I have a couple classic quarter horse congas that are at 6 each and some stablemates at 10 each.
