any suggestions for a christmas event? all christmas kotas will end on christmas day. irregular designs are allowed but not colors. last time we did a harness. so needing some quick ideas before i start setting it up for them to be released within the next week or so.

maybe a ‘gift giving’ thing, where you first ask who would want a Keakota? you could do something in the form like “3 base color suggestions”, “3 eye color suggestions” “3 marking suggestions” etc and maybe each one could have a small, festive marking, like a bell shape, a horn, something?

@eleu: Building off of Spiritstar's suggestion, maybe we could have a Secret Santa where people currently with Keakotas receive a target and have to write about/draw at least one of their target's Keakotas and people without Keakotas get to suggest designs for their target's semi-custom Keakota?

I honestly don't think the community is active and large enough to do secret santas and i'd rather not do something that requires another thread to upkeep.

i mean, the gift giving suggestion may work but again, lack of community size will make this difficult.

the suggestions on bells etc as markings can be done for the christmas series.

As far as Christmas event ideas since the community is small right now maybe just let the artists decide some kind of game running the month where they do small prizes based on who wins their game? Or even just the harnesses, eleutheromania, like you said yall did last year would be cute.

Hey guys! I love this species so much, and am very glad to be an artist for them! So I come now, asking which one is your favorite so far? Doesn't have to belong to you to be your favorite!

As for the current discussion however, for the holiday events, perhaps we can make post-to-build keakotas? Think of it like making a snowman, where one person does each piece. For example, the first person posts what they think the base color should be. Then from there, someone else posts the first (larger) marking they should have, and so on.

Ie;;

Post 1: "Base coat: Chestnut"
Post 2: "Extended Mask: Em, carrier"
Post 3: "Shadow Top: TˢT, show!"
