for the help bros. I get it, the eyes are too large. I just don't need six people to tell me that at once >.< Thanks anyways though, i'll work on making it smaller. I like making my eyes large because it shows off the most luxurious part of her, thats anime for ya. It is a little large so i'll fix that ^^ Thanks.. And for the collar bone, that helped a lot. I never really got the full understanding of the placement, so thx ^^

the thing with eyes is that if they're too big, it borders on creepy and not "luxurious."
Also, I noticed in other pictures you made them rounder as opposed to that elliptical shape, I think that looks less strange, lol.

Sorry to barge in like this, but I felt that this would be most likely to be answered in this topic. Do any of you have experince with polymer clay, specifically Sculpey? I need to use some for a personal project but I have very little knowledge of it... Sorry if this is inappropriate.

sculpey clay is a very good clay to use in general...its bast to play with the clay right after you open so its easier to mold. Also what are you trying to make if i may ask?

Runestones. I just need twenty four or so small pieces that can be painted with acrylic. However, I'm concerned with the baking process. I've read it's not wise to do so in an oven that's also used for food, but I really don't want to buy a toaster oven just for clay that I would probably never use again. Would they crack if I air-dried them?

I've never worked with polymer clay before. And it's perfectly fine to barge in! =3

This is beautiful. I love the colors in the design.

I'm having a particularly hard time with the tail. This is just a sketch, so far. I'm planning on maybe adding whiskers, like on teh chinese dragons?

i don't believe they will crack if they are air dried, for i never experienced that problem. Also i do believe its best to use a different oven. If your still concerned and have enough time try testing one out having it air dried to make sure it wont crack.

Okay; thanks for your help. I have one last question: how long does it take for the clay to air dry? Time isn't really an issue; I'm just curious. (:

just leave it to dry over night, don't blow dry it though i think that could cause it to crack.
