Fast. Too fast. Why is it moving so fast?

We are different. Not special. Just... Different. We live so long. Too long. We have to fight. Or they will kill us.

They are the Dark, being pursued by the Light. The Light has hunted the Dark for as long as humans have existed, killing them, believing that the Dark are evil creatures that defy the basic principle of life; death. What causes the Dark is a genetic mutation, letting them live forever. They are not like vampires, not needing anything to sustain them, though some believe they are vampires and kill and drink just for the thrill. The Dark often believe that their life is a burden, unable to die because they have the power of cellular regeneration. The only thing that lets the Dark believe they are still human is the fact that they can feel pain. They have enhanced brain activity, but are unable to have any superpowers, such as anything beyond what they are given. The Dark can at some points hold control over the regulars, but it takes a lot of energy if they are not gifted -gifted meaning that their powers are intensified to the point where they cannot age past thirty, while most Dark can age until forty or fifty-.

So that's my new idea, just a rough draft. I'm supposed to be doing math homework XD What do you think? Would anyone be interested.
