since the 2.8 beta has already started, i'd assume it starts either may 31st or june 7th, with the former being more likely. we'll be getting primogems tomorrow & next wednesday, but things could change depending on how the situation in shanghai continues over the next few weeks.

Any tips for building my Hu Tao better? thx



hello! for building hu tao, some benchmarks you can go for are about 30k hp, 100 elemental mastery, and the best crit rate/damage ratio you can get. (before you hit 100 elemental mastery, its more important that crit!)

and also.. 4pc crimson witch of flames is the best but the domain sucks so you can also do 4pc shimenawa which is slightly worse but more efficient to farm.
you can go hp% or elemental mastery on the sands, pyro dmg% goblet obviously, and a crit circlet.. probably crit rate since she has crit damage ascension, but whatever you need is fine.

weapon... dragons bane, any 5* weapon is good, deathmatch, blackcliff polearm are all good. (you can also use copium white tassel if you need. the one with crit rate.)

and make sure you use her with xingqiu! xingqiu skyrockets her damage.

Genshin will release statements concerning 2.7 probably early next month considering that's when the current month-long event ends, however, we currently have no information regarding it. We are getting weekly compensation every Wednesday for delays.

First time posting here, woo! I'm mostly posting my thoughts about current happenings in Genshin Impact rather than really answering questions or something. It also gets a bit rambly and goes on for a long while, so I apologize for that. ^^;;

Gosh I'm honestly surprised by Heizou's design. I'm used to the "fanon" design that's been circulating for a while, so seeing him revealed was a shock. I knew he'd be a lot different than the fan design(s) though. I've been seeing people compare him to other characters visually and I've gotta say that he really looks like a Kazuha/Rosaria lovechild to me. It's definitely the hair.

I'm a little miffed when it comes to the current event though. I don't really use my teapot (despite all the free primos sitting there...) and of course my trust rank doubles during maintenance, so I can't even add more characters to gain companionship EXP! But I'm pretty happy with the event outside of that; I think that giving food to your characters should be a permanent thing tbh. I mean, we now have dialogue for it that's voiced and Hoyoverse can cap it to one to three meals per character a day, just like the event, to prevent abusing the system.

I'm really excited for 2.8 that I wish we could skip 2.7 for it; not to diss on the characters or the events there, but I'm much more excited about the leak information for things in 2.8 compared to 2.7.

2.7 leaks (banners, minor story/events) below.
The banners for 2.7 are... disappointing first of all. Yelan + Xiao with Barbara, Yanfei, and Noelle? I already have C6 of Barbs and Yanfei, and I don't even use Noelle! I was tentative about Yelan and I really don't think I'll go for her. I'm a mobile player so bow users are usually a no-go; I only have Venti on my team due to his skill/burst as he's more of a sub/support. And Xiao this soon after his last banner?? I understand why as 2.7's event is said to be about the Chasm, which has a lot of ties to the Yaksha. But I could've easily gone for Shenhe or Ganyu in 2.4. Heck, I could've skipped Xiao entirely and have saved those primos for other characters.

Then it's an Itto rerun for the second half! I already have him at C1 and I don't use him often enough to pull for him again. I know he's getting Gorou and Shinobu (love her btw) on his banner as well as another, but I don't have enough incentive to pull on his rerun just for Shinobu.

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for more lore but I'm just confused by the choices on the reruns for 2.7.

2.8 leaks below (characters, banner speculation, events) below.
Diluc. That's all I need to say, really. I'm a Diluc main; he was my first 5 star as well as his weapon was my first 5 star weapon. Hoyoverse wanted me to main him so I did! And he's fun! The fact that we're actually getting Diluc lore, plus an event related to the Dawn Winery (involving dungeons??), PLUS a skin for him?? Oh this is a treat for me that I'm gladly taking.

And Heizou is there as well! As well as a potential Kazuha rerun? He's getting a story quest in 2.8 according to some reliable leakers, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was a Kazuha rerun. Which while I'm hyped about for sure, part of me is honestly more excited for Heizou. He just seems so fun to play from the moveset! It feels like he's one of the first truly viable catalysts since he doesn't appear to have the auto-aim issue ranged attackers have.

It makes me wonder what else is in store for 2.8 at this point.

hello, im ghost ive been playing genshin actively since december, but have had genshin for probably a year and a half now. i main Xiao and Yae Miko, i have no clue what im doing with the game in the slightest, i mainly just play it for fun and to hang out with friends. ive just started to make the decision to build my characters and take the game more seriously lol (:

i was lucky to get Xiao when the update came out, does anyone have any artifact build suggestions (with stats) and talent suggestions? im not experienced with character building in the slightest so anything helps! (im ar 43 if it helps and pms preferred!)

Pulled Ganyu's bow on the standard banner at only like 30 pity, great considering she's kind of taken Xingqiu's place but I'd rather have Keqing honestly (please mihiyo, I'm begging) and now I have to wait forever for the domain to cycle in the materials I need to ascend it.
Wasn't going for Yelan since she made me think of Eula but Liyue, but testing her attacks actually has her growing on me. So far the only character I'm properly interested in is Kuki because electro sword.


On another note, has anyone played Lost In Teyvat, the fanmade Genshin 'Geoguessr'??
I got max points twice and now realise how much I really need to go out and touch grass. Weirdly enough, Mondstadt was the hardest for me especially selecting the right hill. It's all just grass and hill and hillichurls.
