Chapter One; o n l y t o h e a r n o t h i n g.
Minutes before, they were laughing and having a good time. The two were watching a good movie, the Lion King, and eating a bowl of popcorn. Then she had to go to the bathroom. A minute later, she came out of the small room, and nothing felt right. Meghan looked around the room.
"Adam?" Meghan asked the empty air, still searching for her lost boyfriend. She walked into a small bedroom, and fell silent. She listened for voices. Then a scream came from the basement, a manly scream, definitely. Her body went completely numb. She couldn't move at all. I mean, she wanted to run as fast as she could, but she couldn't. She fell to the ground, as a small red tulip fell in front of her. A young boy, about 17, stood just in front of the small blood-colored flower. Meghan looked up, eyes full of tears.
"Adam is okay." The boy says, kneeling down to her. He wipes the tears out of her eyes.
"Then show me him." Meghan said with a little bit of anger in her voice. The boy frowned.
"I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I can't do that," The boy said, standing back up. Meghan could see the slightest of a smirk on his face. The boy paused. "But I can give you this necklace." He added, holding out a silver necklace with a purple star pendant. Meghan looked up, and accepted the necklace. "Thanks." She said, standing up. She could walk again, but it hurt to step down on one foot. She walked back out of the room, looked back, and the boy was gone.
Meghan looked down at the strange necklace. She didn't plan on putting it on, just in case something bad would happen, but this time, something drew her into that necklace. It seemed so mysterious, like it was leading her to something. So she put the necklace on, and she vanished. In her place, was a statue of stone. Meghan looked back at the statue of stone, and then walked on into the Tunnel of Light.
Chapter Two; T h e T u n n e l o f L i g h t.
Traveling through the Tunnel of Light was…weird. Tons of people were there, giggling and making magical creatures. She ignored those giggles, and continued forward through the mysterious tunnel. Meghan heard a familiar voice ahead, a voice that happened to be singing one of her favorite songs, and stopped to listen.
"Dreams, that's where I have to go, to see your beautiful, face, anymore. I stare at a picture of you, and listen to the radio, hope, hope there's a conversation, where we both admit we had it good,"-There was a pause, as if the voice didn't know that part of the song-"And I realize, if you ask me, how I'm doing, I would say I'm doing just fine, I would lie and say that you're not on my mind, but I go out, and I sit down, at a table set for two, and finally I'm forced to face the truth, no matter what I say I'm…" The voice, definitely a man, sang out. Once Meghan knew that the voice was her one and only Adam, she sprinted to the voice, smiling as the necklace glowed brightly. Then she thought for a moment, 'Why is the necklace glowing?' and so she stopped. 'Is it a trap?' she thought again, getting quite worried as the voice kept singing. Then the voice stuttered.
"Not over y-y-y-you-you-you." The voice stuttered. Right then Meghan knew it was a trap. She turned the other way, and ran. She looked over her shoulder to only see Adam, or an Adam look-alike. Meghan didn't know who to trust, her mind an her necklace, who're telling her to run the other way, and her heart, who's telling her to run to him and give him what he wants and needs.
"Tell me who you are." Meghan said, the tone of her voice full of worry and fear.
"Who else wouldn't I be but your boyfriend?" the man laughed, smiling.
Meghan looked into his eyes, and knew that it was him. She ran up to him and gave him a giant hug. She then felt a large pain in her chest. Her whole body went numb as she fell to the ground.
Chapter Three; I n s i d e t h e C h a m b e r.
Meghan could still hear, but she could no longer move. So all she did was listen to herself being dragged. She cried on the inside, but no emotion was shown on the outside. Just after 15 minutes, her eyes started to open, to see she was enclosed in a cage made up of 15 black iron bars. Meghan heard voices in the background, so she fell silent to listen.
"We have her, your majesty." One voice said, as the other laughed.
"Magnificent. Bring her to me." The main voice, maybe the majesty's, spoke out, as the sound of footsteps came closer to the young girl. She backed up to the far right corner of the cage. The cage door opened, and the necklace glowed yet again, as if it was trying to tell her something, or doing something on its own. The guards, both men, took her anyways, as the necklace dimmed down, hiding itself. The tree entered a large room, filled to the ceiling with many luxury items, and Meghan took a little remark to herself. The guards then let Meghan go, and she made an attempt to run. Just then, something pulled her back.
"You aren't leaving until I get what I want." A voice said, as a mysterious aura surrounded Meghan. Meghan freaked out, as she was pulled back even more, into a chair. She was face to face with the majesty.
"Tell me where the potion is, my sweet, sweet, Cheyenne." The majesty said angrily. Meghan had never heard of a potion before.
"What potion? And my name's Meghan, not Cheyenne." Meghan said back in a snotty way. The majesty looked at my ears, both studded with silver.
"We have the wrong girl, David." She said to a man in the background. The man came out to be…the guy who told her that everything was going to be okay. That guy that gave her the necklace, which was currently around her neck, hidden by her scarf.
"Crap." The boy, David, said, running out the door to retrieve her twin sister. The majesty looked back at Meghan, then back at David.
"Follow him. Follow your dreams." She said, pushing Meghan away.
Chapter Four; F o l l o w i n g H e r O w n D r e a m s.
She ran up to David, him surprised to see her.
"You need to go back! Cheyenne can't see you, or bad things will happen." David said, pointing back to the castle. Meghan was confused, but she refused to listen.
"I'm coming with you. I didn't know that I had a twin, until the necklace told me. I am not leaving." Meghan said, running along with David. David looked at Meghan then looked back forward.
"Expect the worse, then." David said, running faster until the two reached a gate, leading to a mansion. Meghan gasped, walking forward as David broke the gate. It was night time, so Cheyenne's family would never know where she had gone. David walked into the house, Meghan close behind. Minutes later, the three came out of the house. Meghan felt suddenly very sick. She looked at David, and David looked at her.
"The potion is working. This is why you two were never supposed to meet." David sighed, running back to the castle quickly.
Chapter Five; W a t c h i n g F r o m T h e B a c k g r o u n d.
Meghan sat in the chair she sat in earlier, watching what they were doing to her twin. There was nothing she could do; there was a force field around the doctors and Cheyenne, and there were many guards around it. She felt better now that she was farther away from her own twin, but she wanted to figure out what caused her to feel so sick. She walked up to the majesty, who was looking down at Cheyenne being poked and pinched.
"Majesty, I want you to answer one of my questions." She asked as kind as she could, even though she particularly hated her. The majesty looked down at Meghan.
"What is it?" The majesty spoke, a mean tone in her voice.
"Why do I get this weird sick feeling when I'm around Cheyenne?" she asked, as the majesty looked back down at Cheyenne and the doctors.
"The rainbow stones are your only cure." The majesty said, pointing to the door. "Go find them."
And with those words, Meghan set off to find her only cure of her strange feeling.
i'd just like to thank the internet
for giving me tons of friends
all around the us and even outside of my own country
it's amazing to live in the time we live in now
but i could be more
isn't there more
don't you dream of forgetting this
have we forgotten what we want
counting the wars and broken bones
haven't we lost enough already
isn't this more than what it's worth
have we forgotten where we came from
long way from laying in the dirt
and if i can only dream of up from down there god help me i'll be gone
have i lost sight of everything i've worked for or did i get this all wrong
