Yep! We'll just be asking that anyone who is already on DA to 'register' their Avis' with the group. I've not sorted out all the details yet, but if anyone wants to watch the group for updates, you can find it here: http://equusavis.deviantart.com/ and I'll post the next update here and on the EQA topics to let everyone know.

I haven't finalised the plan yet, but the current idea is to allow all owners to keep the characters, but ask that those with DA accounts 'register' their EQAs with the group. Any that aren't registered won't be recognised by the group and therefore denied breeding etc etc. But you will be able to keep any current EQAs that you have, and depending on the archiving method that I employ, we'll state your ownership in the archives (:

Update number 2 on the DA move!

Now there'll be a cease to all new designs on cs whilst I sort out the lineart for the new DA registered EQAs to be re-coloured into (the base is here, so you guys can see what it'll look like!).
Along with the move, a much needed update to the species' features will be made, making them more realistic, and hopefully prettier, too. We'll be including cloven hooves, beards, and revised feather designs among them (although I can't tell you guys exactly what yet, I'm still developing and picking what to use)!
The registration process will hopefully be pretty simple, There will be a journal listing each EQA in order of ID number (#000), and I may or may not include another listing by order of owner name.

Those without a DA account needn't worry about registering with us! HOWEVER we won't be able to colour your EQA into the new lines and your EQA won't be eligible for breeding AT ALL, BUT you can still RP/draw/own them etc etc. If you wish to, you may make a new reference using the new look of the Equus Avis.
All the created CS designs will be archived in the new group (find them here http://equusavis.deviantart.com/gallery/42752729 ).
We ask, please, that you always state the species name in any works' comments, and link to the DA group on question/compliment about/on your character design, maybe, even put a small credit with the group url on the piece.
If you ever create a DA account in the future, and want to register your EQA, you may! you'll simply have to follow the registration process that I'm still yet to devise (sorry!).

I'm sure I've not covered anything that everyone'll be thinking about, so if anyone has any questions, please do ask!

As some of you may know, this species has been on a slow and gradual move to Deviantart.com over the past couple of months, as a basis on that website will provide an easier method of running the group. Please read through this PM for more information on how the move will affect you!

The group had planned to register existing EQAs with it on deviantart, but only if the current owner wishes so (one criteria is that the owner must have an active deviantart account). This means that if you have an active DA account, and would like to register your EQA with the group for benefits such as breeding, we encourage you to do so!

Wait! How does the move affect me if I don't want to register!?
There are some conditions we'd like you to follow;
1. Please ALWAYS Link to either the DA group or CS adoption page when complimented/ asked about your character's design, features or species.
2. You will no longer be able to breed your EQA or participate in group events. You ARE able to give them mates/partners and you ARE allowed to roleplay with them.
3. Please do not sell/give away your design. If you wish desperately to do either of these things, please contact me on CS- we should be able to sort something out. I will still be here and able to respond to these types of requests. PLEASE do not attempt to sell/give away your EQA without contacting or notifying us.

Yes, you can keep your EQA if you don't register it, but we ask that you follow those few conditions if you do so.
